Great size and durable.

I use three of these to keep my bread dough in. I’m a busy ranch wife with no time (nor interest) to go through the double knead process, complete with temperature fussing to keep the rising dough happy. Total “bumpfuss,” if you ask me! I have used the “Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes” book for years now. You just stir in the ingredients (no kneading). Forget a mixing bowl (you’d need a huge one anyway), the dough is mixed up right in this Rubbermaid container . Works great! The container sits in the refrigerator, getting tastier day by day. It makes several 1-loaves and lasts for up to 14 days. The book gives explicit and critically important instructions. But kneading dough and double rising times are gone forever! This container is ideal for making bread this way. And once you taste the homemade bread made from a chunk of dough from the Rubbermaid container, you’ll throw ricks at the store-bought breads!

I was extremely happy to find these sizes here. I had gotten some previously and loved the sizes and wanted more, but I had gotten them at Walmart and they stopped having these sizes. So glad Amazon has them. Thanks.

Works great I freeze a whole pan of lasagna in it perfect size keeps food fresh cleans easy but if your gonna put sauce in it spray with a cooking spray first you’ll thank me later !

This is a sturdy piece, but it's much larger than I imagined. The picture shows it's size compared to a Ninja Sizzle. It's 1.5 Gallons or holds approximately 1.5 Gallons of...whatever! I think it'll last a while. Oh, it's just ONE container (2-pieces), I don't know why I thought it was two containers, I'll still keep it.

I love the great air tight seal! I have put left overs in mine! And had no problem with moisture getting in the container! I have even put cookies, and cake in mine and it keeps them fresh! They don't get hard as a brick! Great for if you are making cookies for your child to take to school! Great for leftovers! It will hold alot! I also love the big grove in the lid as it makes it easy to get a scotch brite in so your able to properly clean the lid and get out any food particals that may have gotten in the grove from storing leftovers! I love rubbermaid products! You won't go wrong with rubbermaid! If your going to a family reunion and need a container to take or hold whatever dish you have prepared in and want to keep it fresh and moisture free this is the storage container I would suggest!

These items are the same size as all my other Rubbermaid storage items. The new models sold in stores are different sizes that don’t fit in my collection and the new tops are too difficult to remove easily! I like the older design much better.

I bought this container because I often need to store baked good - cookies, scones, cupcakes - and needed a container deep enough to hold these items without having to stack them or have frosting, etc., smeared. This container is perfect - not overly big, but big enough and deep enough to keep food fresh and safe. It's very sturdy and seals tightly. I've also used the container to store, or transport to family dinners, fried chicken, etc.
