Makes loud grinding noise when disk is inserted and it attempts to install programming. Tray also unresponsive. Could hear it clicking when I tried to get it to eject, and after several attempts, I finally got my disc back.

Perfect
Perfect. I replaced a broken CD-ROM with this one and it worked great. I was worried it came outside of a box, wrapped in bubble wrap only, but it worked and that's all I needed to happen. Happy with the purchase and even more with the price!
