This is the original, best, most flavorful, most wholesome ingredient, chile crunch. I've been buying for years and years and I can't do without the stuff. The large 31oz jar is the same price as three 8oz jars, so it's like you get an 8oz jar for free, but I like having the smaller jars.. feel like everything stays fresher that way. I like the hot and the mild. Have not tried the chipotle. DELICIOUS stuff. Great on all meats and roasted vegetables. Also good on omelets, stir fry, sauteed spinach, chicken... it's AMAZING. No, it's not cheap. But it's GOOD.

This is the best chili crunch. I’ve gone down a wormhole trying to taste every one I can get my hands on and this is the only one I consistently reorder, and I reorder by the case. I’m on my third case. It’s not as hot as some of the others but the flavor is perfect. Super garlicky. Super crunchy. No tingly numbing Sichuan pepper.

I buy this often. They are great if you are looking for some spice in your everyday meals. Great for eggs! They aren't too hot but give you enough kick. This product keeps very well and is versatile with a lot of different foods.

I bought this Chili Crunch "Hot" but was sent the "original", so I contact the Seller and her immediate response was "Sorry for our overlook mistake. We will send you the "Hot" version tomorrow and you don't have to return the other Chili. Happy New Year!" and she did send it out with 3 day priority mail and I received the new one promptly. Now, to the more important stuff, both versions taste amazing. At first look the chili crunch seem expensive but I find out you only need half a teaspoon for most dishes to enhance and transform their taste. It's garlicky and not too hot. I've tried it on many kinds of food from noodles (both soup or stir fried), all kinds of meat: beef, chicken, pork, lamb, fishes, rice dishes, pizza. I now use it in almost every meal and it has a spot on my dining table so I don't have to fetch it every time we eat. Whichever food is a little plain or you just want to increase its taste or flavor, you can hardly go wrong with it. So, a small jar of chili crunch can really enhance or transform HUNDREDS courses of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Esp. during this Covid period, we go out to eat less, much less but we still want great tasting foods, this is an easy way to do it. Try a jar, then if you like it, buy 3 at a time for better value, I did.

This is a great chili crunch with a mild chili flavor and although it's swimming in oil, it doesn't taste oily. Spice level from 1 to 10 would be a solid 2. It's not spicy at all, but you'll get a hint of heat as you eat it. Unlike other reviewers, it did not taste burnt to me. I especially liked that it did not contain MSG or other odd ingredients/preservatives. I would have liked a bit more spice (hence the 4 stars), but this level of spice allows it to pair well with many food items.

There are many other brands of Chile Crunch out there - but Im not a fan of MSG or grapeseed oil. So I tried Chile Crunch. Since this product is so hard to find in the rural areas I frequently live in I am happy I can get this delivered. My stir fry's, potstickers and egg rolls wouldn't be the same without Chili Crunch drizzled on top. I have been ordering the giant size which I can get about two months out of ( I eat stir frys about 4 days a week). The thing I found liking the most about the original Chile Crunch is that although I like spicy things sometimes all you get is the heat and not the flavor of the other ingredients. With Chile Crunch OG I can taste the other ingredients better and it compliments my meals better than some of the spicier ones I have tried. Over two years of ordering this product I have yet to find anything I like better and that is after trying about 10 other brands.

The flavour isn't very strong, and it's more a mild spicy than a hot spicy. It has a nice crunch to it -- I will give it that. But it lacks any real oomph. It's not bad. Not in any way. It's a decent flavour. And I could see using this on milder dishes like some noodle dishes here or there. But overall, compared to the flavour and punch of condiments like Chi Chi Crisp or Lao Gan Ma, it's just kind of lost in the shuffle. If you're not a big fan of those two, though, definitely give this one a go. It might be right up your alley.
