Skull Name: Sandman. This unique sandstone colored calavera is adorned with black scrollwork and white accents. It will make a beautiful addition to your altar or Dia De Los Muertos celebrations. Original handmade paper mache decorated skull. Hand-embellished. Medium-sized skull measures appx. 5 inches across at the widest point. My skulls are each hand-painted and embellished with a variety of elements including paint, glitter, fabric, and paper. Each skull is one of a kind and is signed on the bottom. I am fascinated by the history of decorative skulls and their symbolism and create my paper mache skulls for multiple uses. They can be used in traditional Dia De Los Muertos decor, they make wonderful and unique offerings for altars, and stand on their own as a one-of-a-kind memento mori.
