What is the wattage rating?

Thanks for your question. Power Handling: 75W/300W. World Wide Stereo – since 1979 – and a proud authorized Klipsch dealer.

Would these be over kill as computer speakers? Placed about 32" away?

Thanks for your question. The RP-500M II will work but as passive speakers need to be connected to an amplifier. Consider using powered speakers which can be driven from the computer headphone output. World Wide Stereo – since 1979 – and a proud authorized Klipsch and Kanto dealer.

Would the Yamaha A-S501 be a good match ?

The A-S501 should be a great match for the RP-500M II! Thank you.

Is the small hole for a mount? If so what kind of mount / screw is needed?

Yes, these speakers feature a 1/4" 20 thread insert to be used with mounting hardware. Just pick a mount that can support the weight of each speaker and offers such attachment style. Thanks!
