What's the deal with all the mold?

If a package is not completely air tight mold will develop. This is common with all jerky products. Plastic packages will occasionally have a pin hole that is invisible to the naked eye that will definitely lead to mold developing inside the package. This occurs in far less than 1% of packages but since these items are packaged individually the occurrence seems higher but really isn't/

I am in san diego, california and when i tried to buy these, amazon said i could not purchase them. do you not ship orders to this area?

We certainly do as they should. You can go to our store on Amazon and order them and we will be pleased to ship them to you. Sincerely, Jerky-n-Spice

Do the ingredients include dairy, gluten/wheat or added sugar?

The alligator and beef, Cajun style, has brown sugar; not sure on the gluten or dairy.North American alligator, beef, salt, spices, brown sugar, dextrose, onion powder, garlic powder, sodium nitrate listed.

I bought it as a gift for my boyfriend, he really liked it. The only one he didn't like was the Kangaroo.
