Some KOHLER toilets have smaller ing holes that require Kohler’s proprietary ¼-20 anchor nuts. If these nuts are installed already, are tight and in good condition, simply reuse them with the screws included with your Bath Royale toilet seat. Makes installation easier - Enables toilet seat to be installed from the top, without reaching behind or underneath the toilet . Use with ing bases included with all Bath Royale toilet seats. Perfect for tight spaces, RVs and recreational vehicle toilets. NOTE: Most toilet seats include "bottom " hardware. "Top " hardware is required when a toilet has "skirt", flat sides or concealed trapway (see photo examples). These toilets have no access under the rim to secure or tighten hardware nuts. Use Bath Royale "top " hardware with other parts (i.e. ing bases, caps, etc.) already included with your Bath Royale toilet seat.
