1900: Or; The Last President

(Spoiler) Not exactly what people say it is. It is actually congress that dissolves the presidency because he meddles in their greed and fights against their business dealings with the "money changers". He is actually a good guy with a direct approach against corruption and racism and is loved by the people, although not popular at first. It is a bit vague with the progression of the story towards the end, but no real correlation to the Orange man currently in office.

A lot of people think this parallel's Trump's election in 2016, but if you look at the dates in the book, the election took place Tuesday, November 3. And Tuesday, November 3rd is the Election Day for 2020. So... these are things matching up with the times, but that are to come!

Quite Amazing. This shows how total collapse could come about when people are so wrapped up with thoughts that They and no one else are totally correct. A real lesson is expounded here that we should always weigh all thoughts and comments and not be Bullheaded! This is a great lesson to be learned by ALL.

I loved the beautiful eloquent use of our language. It was a pleasure to read. The extreme similarities to political happenings was prophetic.I wanted it to continue and not end. Great short story

With a rather interesting and informative forward written by the editor of this edition, this curious novella is certainly worth reading. It is especially nice that it has been made available, in this edition, at a very reasonable price.

its not an easy read. very old fashioned in the writing style BUT very interesting nonetheless. i recieved this purchase practically overnight too. very happy - i really like having intersting books and historical items - this is both :)

Nice little book. Didn't know what to expect but a great read.Don't agree with the ending as it is no doubt sponsored by the New York banks which are the enemy.If we get a populist that moves us to the gold standard I assure you we will all die for them. You will not be able to trick us into hating them and more than likely it will be a revolution like the French as too many people have been hurt by the globalist bankers.

The book is fascinating. The author could have been locked into the future somehow. It is almost documenting our present political affairs. I must read it a second time to absorb all the information that is there for the reader to take in. It is a small book of 43 pages and well worth the read.

Small paperback

This book brings forth the concepts of a President who won by a narrow margin and in the meanwhile America is under siege by socialists and anarchy. The common people are ignored by politicians and ripped off by Wall street. The only thing missing is the boat thats crashing into an iceberg (spoiler alert its mentioned on page 1).

Interesting book.
