Crowley's An Introduction to Human Disease: Pathology and Pathophysiology Correlations: .

I had to buy this for my college Pathophysiology class, which I was taking in the Spring 2020 semester. Well, that's right when COVID-19 hit the U.S., and right as we were starting the chapter on pathogenic organisms. There's a whole section on SARS and MERS. I was going to return this textbook, but now I am going to keep it as a sort of souvenir, the last edition of this textbook to discuss the coronavirus SARS/MERS outbreaks pre-SARS-CoV-2. Crazy times we're living in.

I really enjoy reading this book. Some chapters are hard to understand and has too many details for my major, which is community health, but it is still a great book. The pictures and figures help me visualize and learn the concept faster, as well.

This is a university textbook, but I am reading it out of interest in my own family health situation. It is very clear and detailed. A prior knowledge of anatomy/physiology would be useful.

Small damages at the corners of the book’s cover and pages on arrival. Book is slightly bended as well. Not in the best condition for sure. Real disappointment.
