The add says it is for a vw. will this work on a '62 chevy corvair?

Is this item compatible with a 1967 mg mgb roadster (dual weber carbs)?

MGB used SU Carbs as original equipment. This item will work with SUs and should also work with a Weber 45 DCOE Side-Draft Carburetor Conversion Kit.

will I receive an authentic uni-syn metal or a plastic copy?

It doesn't have the name uni-syn on it but it is stamped made in China. It is made of metal and looks just like the old uni-syn one I lost. If it is a knock-off it is a very nicely made one. It worked perfectly to tune my dual Stromberg carbs on the TR250. I would recommend purchasing it.

Does it work for triumph tr3, su hs6 twin carbs?

It should work with any SU two or three carb setup. I used one just like it 50 years ago on my then Triumph TR4
