I took it out to test it and I think he will like it. The head straps are easy to put on and the 3 AAA batteries (not included) are easy to install in the mask. The mask fits tight on your face and you can see through it so it is safe to walk around in. It has 4 buttons on top for easy - hard. The wrist control is a little awkward. The strap is hard and still moved on my wrist. It also takes 3 AAA batteries (not included). Once the batteries are installed it comes on and aliens start to appear and you hit the button on your wrist to shoot them, when done it tells you a number of the aliens you got.
