Bought this to help with a surgical scar and it’s been working well so far. The gel is easy to apply, dries quickly and forms a thin layer over the skin without feeling sticky. It is quite expensive for the small tube, but a little goes a long way. Overall a good quality scar treatment that does exactly what it’s meant to do.

I was recommended to use scar gel by my surgeon to aid scar healing and I purchased this one based on other reviews about it's efficacy. It seems to be doing a good job but I've only given it 4 stars because it is very expensive and quite hard to dispense from the little tube and apply the right amount. When the tube is partly used, it's hard to get the right level of "squeeze" to ensure you have enough product but not too much. You also have to be careful how much product you apply on your skin. If you put too much on, it doesn't dry. You can't see it once it is dry so I can't really comment on longevity.

First time using and was a bit put off by reviews but my surgeon had recommended this after knee surgery left me with a 3.5inch surgical scar. Started using as soon as the wound closed - scar was very raised, bumpy and uneven - I’d been warned by physio to start massaging it to promote better long term healing. 3 days of using (only used once a day) this after some massage and I am AMAZED at how quickly it’s healing, flattening and looking much better. I can’t speak for old scars but for recent surgeries, this has been fantastic (have another shoulder scar which used on bio-oil on and it’s not looking as good as this). Definitely recommend trying. Some reviews mention it being tacky but you really don’t need to use much at all and it dries fine for me.

I searched for a gel that would help a bad scald from a kettle and tried this because of the reviews. The scar from boiling water was raised and thick and this has stopped my hand from being scarred. IT WORKS. Keep going and use the tube don’t stop half way through.

This works wonderfully well. My purple raised scar is flat and pale pink. It doesn’t work overnight but it does work well. Highly recommend.

Not so good for big Keloid Scars

Having broken my femur and having a titanium implant from knee to hip I was left with 3 massive, ugly scars. Did not think I’d ever be able to do anything. Googled the problem and found this online. Not only did it reduce the raised scars they are barely visible. Use twice a day for six months. So persevere. Never thought I’d be wearing swimwear and shorts ever again but I am.

This product has helped me so much to get rid of scars from cosmetic surgery! Great product :)

La uso porque me la ha mandado mi médico y de momento todo bien, ha aclarado la cocatriz y está de mejor apariencia y nada de queloide, hay zonas que está casi invisible (abdominoplastia) pedir la de 15gr que ya en si es bastante pequeña, xq la de 6gr es demasiado pequeña

J'ai acheté ce gel pour atténuer une cicatrice datant d'un an et une autre très récente datant de 3 mois. Toutes les deux dues à une intervention chirurgicale des genoux (prothèse totale). Les cicatrices mesurent environ 20 cm de longueur. J'utilise ce gel matin et soir depuis 1 mois. La cicatrice la plus ancienne s'est estompée et il n'en reste environ que 4 cm de visible. La seconde cicatrice qui me faisait encore terriblement mal, ne me dérange presque plus et les rougeurs ont sensiblement diminuées. Les deux cicatrices sont maintenant beaucoup plus esthétiques. A savoir que la cicatrice du genou gauche était aussi rouge que la cicatrice du genou droit avant le début du traitement par gel KELO-COTE. Je renouvelle donc aujourd'hui mon achat pour continuer le traitement. Le tube de 15g m'a permis de faire ce traitement durant 1 mois sur les deux genoux en application matin et soir. Une seule goutte suffit par cicatrice ! Je recommande ce produit sans hésiter.

Ich meine, dass ist eines der besten Narben-Gels, die ich kenne. Deutlich ergiebiger als z.B. Contratubex. Eine kleine Menge genügt um die Narbe geschmeidig zu werden zu lassen. Dabei schützt der Silikonfilm vor äusseren Einflüssen und hält die darunterliegenden Narbe "feucht".
