Randomise | The hilarious pocketsize party game of acting, drawing and describing for families, adults & kids (Classic Edition)

I got this game for a family holiday. It is a mixture of charades, articulate and Pictionary all in one. The box itself is only about the size of a passport case, with the thickness of your thumb maybe. i.e. small and easily transportable. It basically fits two packs of cards in side, by side. We had 3 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 7. The game says this game is for 8+ but we played it with everyone and with a little bit of help the 7 year old got on just fine and we all had a lot of fun. As a travel game we simplified the game and just played it acting or describing the words, rather than drawing too as saved us from transporting paper and pencils with us as well. The game was perfect for killing anywhere between 15 mins as we waited for a table to an hour or two in the evening at the bar; and small enough that I could carry it around in my bag all night even if we didn't end up playing it.

We have recently added several timed activity games to our collection and this has quickly become one of our favourites. Our 11yr old boys love acting, drawing and describing the crazy combinations and every session is full of laughter. The product is small enough to be taken to friends and family easily, not to mention easy to play while traveling there either in the car or on the train. In essence, an excellent, simple (to play and easy to learn), brilliantly produced game.

Played this with the family and had a great laugh. Great value for money. My 7 year old granddaughter played as well and loved it.

This was a nice alternative to charades & definitely calls on creativity! Is very funny, but be warned can lead to frustrations if takes too long guessing. But you can act, draw too if get stuck, best to do for fun not point scoring to avoid meltdowns & keep to the fun part of it! You can also do this game over Zoom or Teams for a bit of fun (can chear up older relatives). Whoever has the pack can hold a card up for the other to see without looking themselves if they want a turn, or kids can do for entertainment. It's best to show & read out a card, then act it out to show how it's done so people understand what it's all about, especially if older (or very young) Acting was easier than trying to draw as difficult for people to see well & position camera. All in all a clever game/idea!!

A fun but basic game for all the family. Essentially this is a set of cards with words on them which one player reads and acts out, describes or draws the word for the others to guess (easy or hard options of words). As a family, we enjoyed it for a short while but lost interest after a few games. Obviously, the words are randomised on cards meaning you have to change subject quickly which can add some fun to the gameplay. Despite this it would be easy to create this game yourself by writing out words on paper and using them instead. The cards are of good quality and nicely designed. More fun with larger groups.

Having read many helpful reviews we were not disappointed. It provided us with a useful family game for our Christmas/Boxing Day family gathering at a reasonable price and will be handy for future occasions. Even though the two over 80yr. old members of our group of 16 people, which also including a 6 yr old. 10 yr. old and 12 yr. old, enjoyed this game as observers: It still provided them with appropriate entertainment for as long as folk were happy to play. It is a fun way to teach Nouns, Adjectives and Verbs. It could be a useful teaching aid to have in a classroom at Primary and Secondary English lessons. The choice of acting, miming or drawing allows enough choice to suit the needs of most personalities, extrovert or introvert. Doesn't require storage space - would be a useful one if away on a family holiday, a hen party or stag do too.

Très sympa, avec des enfants dès 7 ans. Le jeu est en anglais, donc aussi une bonne opportunité de travailler la langue de Shakespeare pour celles et ceux qui ne la maitrisent pas complètement.

Divertido y original. Lo utilizo para mis clases de inglés. Requiere un nivel elemental/intermedio de los estudiantes, pero siempre puedes hacer algún apaño para adaptárselo a ellos

This won't be used until Christmas but I think it will be a lot of fun. I bought it for a family get-together which will include many creative and artistic adults and kids and quite a few wannabe actors😁 can't wait! Could be an hilarious Christmas. I received my order very quickly.

Super einfach und lustig wenn man in großer Runde spielt. Für weniger als 6 Personen wirds etwas einseitig, jedoch mit ein paar Regelumwandlungen geht das auch gut. Aber am besten spielt man dieses Spiel in großer Runde, gute Laune und Lacher vorprogrammiert! Da alles auf Englisch erklärt ist, ist es ganz gut, wenn zumindest einer die Anleitung lesen und erklären kann. Ansonsten helfen ÜbersetzungsApps weiter, um einzelne Begriffe auf den Karten aufzuklären. Es spielt sich wie Activity/Tabu und co.: Man kann allerdings frei wählen ob man die Begriffe erklärt, pantomimisch darstellt oder zeichnet. Man zieht 3 Karten (A, B, und C) und die anderen Spieler sagen für jede Karte eine Zahl von 1 - 3. Somit haben sie blind ausgewählt, welche Begriffe der Spieler zeigen muss. Auf Karte A ist ein Adjektiv, auf Karte B ein Tier/Wesen/oä und auf Karte C eine Tätigkeit. Ein Beispiel: Ein schüchterner Dinosaurier, der Limonade verkauft. Somit gibt es haufenweise Kombinationsmöglichkeiten und Wiederholungen sind sehr unwahrscheinlich. Daher wird dieses Spiel auch nie langweilig und man kennt die Begriffe auch nicht nach mehrmaligem Spielen auswendig. Natürlich sind beispielsweise Gefühlslagen oder andere Adjektive schwer zu beschreiben, aber das macht das Spiel nur noch umso witziger.
