Weatherproof Electrical Junction Box Cable Connector, ANSCHE Outdoor/External Junction Box Cable Connector Sleeve Coupler Ø5mm-10mm (2 Pole, IP67,Nylon)

Used these for out door security lights very easy to connect up but the terminals are small and not very well colour coded for E,L and N but if you are experienced with basic plug connections it is common sense. The fitting seems to function ok with 6mm cable but any thing larger if you over tighten the joint it will expel the rubber grommet that seals from water ingress. I have used the inline and 3 way configuration of this item so this review applies to both. Time will tell if the moisture is kept out over time.

I used this connector (junction box) to run a cable to a garden water feature,i made a point of keeping the box off the ground , a few inches by fixing it to the garden fence, i am not sure if this is necessary but i thought it was safer that way . Incidentally i used a similar junction box to this about 3-4 years ago and its still in the garden doing its job,hope this helps,i might add IF YOU ARE NOT EXPERIENCED WITH ELECTRICS GET AN ELECTRICIAN TO DO THE JOB , hope this helps Marion.

Bit fiddly to use atop a ladder but managed it, need small screwdriver.

very good idea for an outside junction box

Good quality product and exactly what I was looking for as part of my garden lighting project. I tried cheaper versions previously which did not last long before allowing water ingress. These should last.

Seems fine, not used it yet.

Great little connector. Small compact and easy to install. I've one cable at 9.4mm and this connect just about accommodates. Like these a lot.

Buried in ground near water feature, been their over a month so I checked it after some really heavy rain and it was perfectly dry.
