will it read none polarized capacitors because my m6013 is making no sence

Connected non polarised 1 mF, capacitor to my M6013 set to 47nF / 47mF. The display showed 1027.7nF. This capacitor type is not very temperature stable so the component is OK as were 3 others of the same make and value. My main requirement was to be able to test capacitors for value and stability in oscillator circuits. Hope this is helpful.
