Received 8-31-23 - KITTIES LOVE IT! So far so good!
WONDERFUL interactive toy that both my kitten and elderly 16 year old cat have both enjoyed and sometimes even together. It does 3 different types of movements/modes one right after the other(NOT at the same exact time) and each last around 4 minutes each. (Butterfly on protective covered (firm but bouncy) wire spins around in a circle rather quickly, then butterfly moves intermittently and stops and goes again, and then third mode is at the bottom level of toy, the furry toy juts in and out unexpectedly on every side at different times). So, when it turns on, it lasts for around 12 minutes, but you can easily hit the start button to have it start up again so your kitties don’t have to wait 4 hours. And this entertaining interactive toy (easily rechargeable with USB cord) turns on every 4 hours on its own. (But can be turned off at night) The charge last for several days which is surprising. *(No issues with turn on button being defective that several mentioned had been a problem, so time will tell) This comes with 2 extra replacements for the spinning butterfly that goes round and round and 2 replacements for the furry thing that shoots in and out quickly at bottom level for kitties to try to get. So far, have been REALLY pleased and if no issues down the road with turn on button (mode button), it was definitely worth every penny! My now 6 month old kitten has played extensively with this and also enjoys the 2 balls he can play with when toy isn’t even turned on, in the middle of toy that can roll around as he uses his paw to push them around in a circle and they stay within the center of toy without being pulled off. (Although, if I want to pull them out for him to play with, I can. But he’s not pulled them out which is great)! Also, on the top of toy are ongoing lights that let you know what mode it’s on. If you want to put it in NIGHT TIME mode so it won’t go off during night, you hit button until no lights on top show. (Be sure to read directions so it will be clear what color light means what) I’ve gone into a lengthy description because l personally like to fully know what to expect from a toy when purchasing. So far, I’d HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! IF I have any issues in the near future with a defective button, I’ll try to share that here on my review if still allowed to do so)! Thus far, I’d had to say this is one of THE BEST interactive toys for kitties that I’ve yet to locate! :-)

Fun cat toy
Our kitties love this toy! We had one already and they would take turns playing with it. We ordered the replacement butterfly because the original one broke after months of use. Our poor cat was so sad that he walked around with the broken one on his mouth. The great advantage is that you can order replacement parts, and it is rechargeable. When we were ordering the replacement part, we decided to order another unit because our kitties like it so much.

Okay time, shuts off and comes back in automatically.
Both the cats in the house love this!! They catch the ‘wack a mole’ piece and drag the whole toy around. The feathers don’t last long. Could be easier to trade out those pieces. But I like it!!

Fun, but older (or outdoor) cats might get bored easily
I bought this because my cats like things a little more *active* than just a toy that lays on the ground. They like to goof around outside, and figured this might be entertaining for them one days when it's too rainy/cold/hot for them to be outside. They enjoyed it for a little while, but it didn't take too long for both of them to learn that the top bit only spins in circles (I think a more erratic movement might be better?). The toy comes with several pieces, which is nice. The butterfly toppers make a bit of flappy noise which they were more into - but if left unattended the younger cat decided to deconstruct it, so that one is done already (I might be able to hot glue it back together?). They enjoy the ribbons and butterflies way more when I'm doing the movements because it's more interesting than a circle.Neither of them really cares much about the ball at all. They're most interested in the part that pops in and out. Even then, my older cat stares at it, maybe baps at it a little, and then gets bored. The younger one has still got a lot of kitten in him, so he's more apt to go for it. But all cats are different, so your mileage may vary. It's a good toy overall. I think the butterfly toppers should be of better construction to withstand a bit more before falling apart, as well as maybe have a different movement option than just spinning in circles. But I like that it's rechargeable (and that charge lasts a while, let me tell you!), and that it comes with several different pieces that you can swap in and out. I admit that I still haven't tried putting catnip in the ball, or swapping out the current empty ball for the one that jingles. And the toppers can always be used as toys separately when held by hand.Pretty good for the price, I haven't had my cats hit the button on top and accidentally turn it off (as I've seen some other reviewers' cats do). And it's held up well so far to a decent amount of bapping and tackling from the younger one. So yeah, go ahead and give it a go.

Great Toy!
All 3 of my cats love this toy, it's really nice! I had been searching for awhile trying to find the right toy to entertain them when we're not home and just something for them to play with instead of a tunnel or balls etc. It gives them 3 different things to play with so actually more then one cat can play with it at a time. The charge lasts a long time. I would definitely recommend this toy.

Cats Love This and It's Super Durable
I got this in hopes of replacing my old ball tower toy they like with something a bit more interactive and this certainly does really well! I usually only have one feature turn on at a time (the butterfly toy or the fluffy hide-a-way toy) and both cats play with it for a solid 5-7 minutes. I also don't leave it out so it stays exciting and effective for what I use it for (distractions during remote meetings).Pros:* It turns itself off as instructed per setting (such as after 10 minutes it turns off), but I like that I can turn it off as well to conserve battery life; though it can be left on and then become active every 3 hours* I dropped it from over 5 feet high twice and it still works fine with no scuffs or scratches (the wand toy bent a little, but the cats don't mind and it comes with replacements)* It's pretty quiet, especially for remote meetings where I can keep them busy while I have a meeting* I love that it comes with replacement parts that are also unique, which should give me a lot of longevity even if they rip up stuff.Cons:* The fluffy piece doesn't always come out perfectly, but that hasn't bothered my cats* It's not the greatest for multiple cats, as at least one of mine likes to hog the machine. They still find ways to play together sometimes, but one is definitely more engaged than the other

Great toy, but you have to manually turn it on every 10-12 min
The toy deserves 5 stars all around, it feels pretty sturdy and I like that the butterfly actually flutters around compared to another toy I bought. It keeps my 10 month old kitty pretty entertained. My biggest issue is that this toy is not for when the human is not at home, meaning that if the cat wants to keep playing, one would need to manually keep pressing the button to restart it, compared to another toy I had which would start automatically when the cat is near or touches it. This one goes into "stand by mode" for 3 houra after 10-12 min of moving. I wish this one would be on stand by when no activity and restart once the cat approaches it or ingeracts with it. So if you are planning to get it, and you are your cat's slave, just know that you would need to turn this on manually every 10-12 mins. My kitty so far has been pretty engaged for more than that time, so for me it is not convenient, especially if bought to keep him entertained while I'm working to pay for his toys and Churus.

My cats love it
It’s a little smaller than anticipated but it came charged and ready right out of the box..just had to attach the top piece with a little click. It really freaked me out the first night, when it randomly turned on by itself. Now that I know it does that, it’s really a great toy that both my cats actually love..and they usually don’t. My house is a cat toy graveyard but they keep going back to play with this thing. It holds a charge for a long time too, I’ve only ever charged it once and I’ve had it for about two weeks. It came with the charging cord and back up toy attachments..extra ball, feather and butterfly, but surprisingly I haven’t had to swap any of them out yet, even though it’s played with multiple times a day. Pleasantly pleased with how well it’s holding up. My cats either ignore a toy after one or two uses, or completely obliterate one they like. This one has kept the interest of our older, chonky girl and our younger, rambunctious boy. So far, the best toy I’ve ever purchased….and I’ve bought a lot.

Cat Loves it
Love that this turns on by itself for days we aren't home. My one cat could care less but one cat loves it so much that when I charge it she plays with it while charging.

Not for my boys
Decent toy and battery life. Charges quickly, toy is pretty durable. It just doesn't really keep the attention of either the 2yr old ir the 1yr old cats. The 2yr old has never played with it in the months we've had it, and the 1yr old lays down to watch the pom sometimes. That said, the butterfly attachment is one of the 1yr old's favorite toys if you drag it around yourself and him. He loves chasing it and will tire himself out fast.
