A bargain. Programmed and worked instantly.
Cheap additional Keyfob for our 2017 Expedition. Programmed and worked instantly. All functions worked correctly. Programming instructions can be found several places with a quick Google search on the 'net. Factory cut key from the broken keyfob that this replaced did work (store) in the new keyfob with a little bit of trimming on the metal part of the original key. For me, there was no need to get the new key blank cut into an additional key because I could use the old one. One side note- your Ford vehicle will only accept a total of four keys programmed into its system. The vehicle obviously comes with two keyfobs new, so there is space for an additional two keyfobs in the system. In my case, somebody had added a third keyfob to my vehicle (replacing a lost original...) so the keyfob I just purchased ended up being the fourth and final one. Any more, and I'm off to the Ford dealership to have them wipe the security system and start all over again with programming them.

Worked well for 2014 Ford Explorer
The replacement key fob worked well. I did use the back portion of the original key fob which allowed me to use the original 'key' that stores inside the fob. No trouble programming it with a 2014 Ford Explorer. I did replace the battery that came with it to make sure that it was a fresh battery.
