Our Mango fragrance is really subtle and fruity, fresh not y – and not overly sweet. Mangoes are one of the most popular tropical fruits. They have been grown in India since before 2000 B.C. In fact, in Indian Vedic literature the Mango is spoken of as a blessed transformed creature. From India the fruit was spread by the Portuguese who took it to Africa in the 17th century. By the 18th century it had reached Brazil and the Caribbean, followed by Mexico, Florida and Hawaii in the 19th century. A young mango tree will bear fruit after four years. There is a folk belief in India that pouring milk and treacle around these young trees makes the fruit sweeter – although we love ours just as they come and exactly as our Mango fragrance smells! These different names simply refer to the concentration of fragrance oil within the bottle. All our fragrances are colognes, which means that they contain between 2-8% of fragrance oil. All of our products are unisex; we don’t believe that fragrance has a gender.
