How long does it take for the probe to be left in the fish tank to display the temperature? Why does it always show 24.3 degrees on your tape?

It should start picking up the temperature straight away so after 5 minutes (probably very much less) it should be giving the correct temperature. 24.3 is just the temperature shown on the box, wouldn't make a lot of sense to show a blank screen 🤔
