When these are on on position is there enough light to read?

It depends on how much light you like. I prefer a fairly bright light shining on my books. These lights do well to light a small hallway or small area, but the brightness would not be the amount I'd prefer. In a pinch if the normal light I use is out due to a power outage or something, I would use this to read by though. Hope that helps!

How do you make the motion sensor work?

Hi, the sensor only work in dark environment. When you turn on Auto mode in dark, the sensor will detect motion and turn on the light automatically and stay in 15s, after not sensing any movement, it will turn itself off. It won’t turn on at daytime to save battery.

Hi, how can I get replacement part magnets for the wall? I have two lamps but cannot hang them on the wall because of no magnets.

The magnets are between the part you mount on the wall and the actual lamp. You mount the wall piece with adhesive - which I believe is on the back already.
