Has anyone had this cable go bad after a year or so? Issues like the call fading out where you can no longer hear the other person.

YES, I use Plantronics headsets and these cables at work and it is a common issue (globally) for some APP-51 adapters with the certain HW-Release like 02/16 A41.02 or 07/18. We get Echo-Issue, calls fading and dropping completely. The only solution to this that proved efficient is a different HW Release.

Will this work with a polycom vvx201 phone?

It works on my polycom vx310 phone.

Will this work with a vvx250?

Hello! Yes, it is compatible. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact our Customer Care Team at: 800-985-9815.

Is this ( plantronics ehs 38439-11 ehs app-51 hook switch landline) is the correct adaptor for a plantronics cs530? i have a cisco 7975 phone. thanks

Thank you for your question. This cable is ONLY for POLYCOM phones.
