Very poor
Absolutely loved the smell of this candle, however, it didn't really smell of citronella, used it for the first time and it was OK BUT when I used it again the wick just burnt down inside the candle straight away leaving a useless lump of wax. I am so very disappointed with this item that I will not buy another.

Effective and long-lasting – ideal for outdoor evenings
The candle quality is excellent – burns evenly and lasts for hours, providing long-lasting protection. The citronella scent is pleasant and not too overpowering, perfect for keeping mosquitoes and biting insects at bay. Feels durable and holds its shape well even after multiple uses. Great value for money for outdoor summer use – a must-have for garden gatherings or camping.

Fly repellent
If you're expecting a miracle don't. It doesn't get ride of the flies altogether but, it does deter them and I've noticed a decrease in how many we get flying around our gazebo. Thought it would be bigger than what it is but it works from what I've noticed. Burns quicker in the center but not as bad as one photo I've seen.

Do the job, not overwhelming smell
Brilliant bug deterrent and not overwhelming smell. I use these at our holiday home in France in lanterns. They definitely do the job, give a lovely light in the evening and don’t smell too strong when you’re eating. I buy these year on year and will continue to do so

Not very effective
Not a super strong citronella smell. I think it may have attracted the midges in Scotland.

Perfect. Good smell not too overpowering. Kept a few bugs away. Lasted well. Good value.

Rubbish
Rubbish - There is nothing worse than a candle that just burns the wick and the area around it. These candles just burnt a crater in the middle and the wax had nowhere to go so it just keeps putting itself out. Absolute rubbish.

Lovely scent , price and size
Amazing smell ! The scent is lovely and strong , well wrapped . For all its meant to be a candle for putside , it smells good enough to scent a indoor room . I've ordered more . Good price

Amazing!
We live in an area with a LOT of mosquitos. It smells quite strongly and works well. Last night we forgot to blew both candles out outside. This morning it was still burning with only about 1 - 2 cm decline in the height.
