Hi guys, can this work with a dmx desk...plug it in via the midi or xlr and trigger different lights by tapping different pads etc?

Works with anything that takes an audio output.

does this work with a mixer

Yes it does work with a mixer, although you do get fluctuating sound levels (even if all the samples are set at the same levels).

can the mpx16 lock sampled loops to an external midi clock by pitch shift/timestretch ?

absolutely not the sampler is based on a really crappy processor and you’ll be lucky if it can even play all the single via MIDI and constantly drops out when triggered from anything traditional .. it’s rubbish .. don’t buy one!
