Wow, this is the esaiest way to install an outdoor lamp over vinyl siding, a perfect fit! Sells for a lot more in the big box stores and without the color choices found here. Great invention.

Fit exactly. Made to pass the electrical wires from any angle. My only suggestion is to affix the supplied screws before affixing the block to the wall or ceiling.

Will work on 5" lap siding but will need to caulk small gaps on each side.

These work great as long as you are mounting your light at the correct area of the vinyl siding. It worked great on my garage light but not for my outdoor light for my entrance door.

Works like a charm if you want a more flat surface for outdoor lights on siding I have purchased multiple of them also makes your outdoor lights look nicer and cleaner
