Professional Gouache Paint Set - 9 jars - For Beginners, Students & Professional artists

These paints are mostly good quality. They layer and blend very well, so you can get a wide variety of tones from the paints...with the exception of the black. I don't know if I received a bad batch or what, but the black gouache paint was incredibly grainy. It was more like a grey wash with some black bits scattered on the page. I tried to mix it up in the hopes it would just be a separation issue, but it remained watery. The other paints are fine, and I enjoyed using them, but I am disappointed in the black!

These are great - I find tubes of gouache can be quite wasteful as you always squeeze out too much - these pots will eliminate any waste. Nice colours, although a little pale in some cases. I shall certainly buy them again, as they are so convenient.

Im Happy with the results of my first use of gouache paint, which was white on white painting of my bathroom window sill.
