when the tumbler is full, do you turn it over to blend? Cover it before blending?

Thanks for your question! Yes! Since the blade on the NutriBullet also doubles as a cap, you essentially seal the ingredients in the vessel by placing the blade on top of the vessel prior to blending. Have a great day!

Is the cup plastic or glass?

Thanks for your question! All of our cups are made out of BPA free Tritan plastic. Enjoy your day!

can you use this unit NBR-0601 to make milk shakes?

Thanks for your question! Absolutely! The NutriBullet 600 watt unit is perfect for making shakes. We have many recipes here: https://www.nutribullet.com/recipes/. Enjoy your day!

Can I grind coffee in the nutribullet???? if I do it which one of the blades is for that????

Thanks for your question! The original NutriBullet 600-watt unit can grind coffee, however, to keep from damaging the components, we recommend using the optional NutriBullet 600-watt milling blade that can be found on www.nutribullet.com. Enjoy your day!
