What bead sizes work best with this elastic string?

It works with many pony, clay, letter, plastic, glass, gemstone, pearl, and seed beads with compatible holes. We tested it with 11/0 seed beads, and the cord can pass through them. Please check bead hole size, as holes may vary.

Can I use it with large or heavy beads?

Yes, larger lightweight beads work well if the hole fits. For heavier beads like crystal, ceramic, stone, or large glass beads, double the cord if the bead hole allows.

How much cord comes in one roll?

Each roll includes 450 yards of elastic cord, giving you plenty of length for multiple jewelry, craft, classroom, or small business projects.

How should I tie the knot?

We recommend tying 2–3 secure knots. For extra hold, you can add a small drop of jewelry glue and hide the knot inside a nearby bead if the bead hole allows.

Can I use it for heavy stone beads?

Yes,for heavy stone, crystal, ceramic, or large glass beads, we recommend doubling the cord if possible and securing the knot with jewelry glue for extra hold. Avoid making the bracelet too tight to reduce tension on the cord.

Best string

Bought this, after a few flimsy failed attempts with cheaper brand. Great string, strong and durable. Good value for money, massive roll!

User

Poor quality

I found this to be poor quality, certainly not strong enough for use as beading elastic, even when using two strands together. I also found it difficult to knot.

Comes apart

I bought this elastic to make bracelets and sell them but it keeps splitting apart as I'm stringing the beads. It's also not easy to knot a couple of times I had to re-do them. Not good quality I'm sorry to say.
