Fantastic alternative to an Apple Pencil
I’ll preface by saying I have an iPad Pro and a 2nd gen Apple Pencil… I am definitely partial to my pencil. It is a dream to use, & if you have the money, I will always recommend it first. That being said, for Christmas we decided to get my kids each a 9th gen iPad and stylus, as I homeschool and it takes a long time to do our schoolwork one at a time on my iPad. My goal is for them to each have their books on their iPads and simultaneously do their work. However, my kids are still young and easily distracted/clumsy, or simply don’t quite understand the true value of such items yet. Thus my search for a good alternative began. I spent a long time looking at all the options here; reading a ton of reviews. I wanted as close to my own pencil in every aspect as I could get, even down to the nib style. This does all of what it claims to do. I paired it with my iPad Pro to give it a try in the meantime, and it worked great. After reading the instructions, it was easy to get it connected. I don’t notice any lag, and all of the features seem to work perfectly. I should note that you cannot close out of apps using the stylus. (As you’ll see in my video.) Please excuse the sound machine in the background, but if you listen closely, you can also hear an ever so faint ‘scratching’ sound. I am hoping it’s simply the way I was holding it, but I will be keeping an eye on that for sure. I did check the screen, but I didn’t see any scratches thus far. That will quite possibly be a dealbreaker. Also, I do miss the pressure sensitivity, but it seems as though only the pencil is equipped with that feature. It does magnetize to the iPad as claimed, though possibly not quite as strongly as the pencil, but I’m really picking here. As far as a size and appearance comparison goes, I am happy to say they are nearly identical. (Apart from the obvious charge port and battery indicator, which is honestly a welcome feature.) This stylus is maybe a hair thicker than the pencil and only a little bit longer. It is also shaped just like the pencil in that it is rounded with one beveled side which is where it magnetizes to the iPad. The pencil, however, does have a slightly more substantial feel to it, but my kids won’t notice a difference. It came with a charge cable & 3 extra nibs, but it did not come with a charge port cover; which is disappointing, but they honestly would’ve lost them anyway. I hope this was helpful!! I tried to think of all the things that mattered to me when I was searching for hours. Bottom line… definitely worth the purchase! For my kids’ needs, it’s the Goldilocks. No, you’re obviously not getting an Apple quality stylus, but you are getting a very good alternative at a very good price point. If my opinion changes as they are used, I will be sure to update! UPDATE 10/24: They’ve worked very well for our needs thus far. I will say though, that the other day my son dropped his from counter height and it must have landed directly on the nib because it completely broke it open exposing the metal tip. Thankfully I had the replacement nibs! Just be aware that they seem to be very soft & this is a risk to watch for. Still happy with the pens overall though, and definitely still recommend them. Side note, now I need to make sure I can order new nibs when I run out of the provided replacements!

Don't bother with Apple's. Buy this.
A couple years ago, I bought an Apple Pencil. At some point I forgot about it in a drawer. As I found out, this turns it into a doorstop due to the tiny battery, which is not replaceable (including by Apple). If it's out of warranty, you're out of luck. Frankly I find this INSANE, even from Apple. It's literal landfill merchandise, for $100. I didn't feel like blowing another Benjamin on a disposable piece of junk, so I went looking for options and settled on this one. So far I am very pleased. Even if it were priced on-par with the Real McCoy I would still probably buy this one–because I honestly think it's the superior product. Let's see: - Works every bit as well for my usage (mostly handwriting notes). Very pleasant to use, no complaints. - Noticeably lighter and better-balanced. Most people find Apple's offering to be a bit awkward and "top-heavy", and I'm among them. This one really does feel like a pencil - USB-C charging - I could buy *SIX* of these for the same price, and have a few bucks left over - Battery indicator - No pairing/BT dance: tap to wake it up, and it works Downsides so far: - The plastic is not *quite* as nice as Apple's. It doesn't feel cheap or bad, but it has a slight gloss and is ever so slightly slick by comparison. It's honestly pretty minor, and if I didn't have an Apple Pencil for comparison I wouldn't likely notice - That's really it. I can't speak to longevity yet, but it would be hard to do worse If Apple had made the battery replaceable and offered to sell me one for a reasonable price, I'd have done it. If I could bring the thing to an Apple Store and pay them to replace the battery, I'd have done that too. They deserve to lose sales for having deliberately engineered something that is so anti-consumer and bad for the environment.

I love it
"I recently got my hands on the Stylus for iPads, and I must say, I'm impressed. The design is sleek and modern, and it feels sturdy yet lightweight, making it comfortable to use for extended periods. Performance-wise, the stylus is highly responsive, with excellent accuracy. It supports pressure sensitivity and tilt, which is a huge plus for artists. The battery life is impressive, lasting up to 10 hours on a single charge, and it recharges quickly. The stylus works seamlessly with my iPad Pro, and I didn't have to go through any complicated setup process. I particularly love the palm rejection feature, which allows me to rest my hand on the screen without any issues. The customizable button is a nice touch, giving me quick access to my favorite tools. Considering its features and performance, I believe the Stylus offers great value for money, especially when compared to other high-end styluses. Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile stylus for their iPad."

No dust cover, but otherwise perfect for the price
(Took off 1 star for no dust cover over charger) I love this pencil. I bought it to replace my old knockoff pencil which was so outdated it was a dupe of the first generation Apple Pencil. It holds an amazing charge and works wonderfully for me as a college student who takes all my notes on my iPad! I got it on sale for about ~10 bucks and it was a great deal for that, it carried me through the last few weeks of the semester (some of the busiest writing times) really well! It was very easy to set up with my iPad and it the writing speed is good, I can’t speak to it in comparison to the Apple version since I don’t own one but I don’t feel the need to spend that much money when this fits all my needs for a fraction of the price. I love that it came with extra pencil nibs, and it’s much comfier to writer with than my last pencil dupe. When very I first tested it out I had some issues with line-skips while writing, but quickly discovered that it doesn’t happen at all if I rest my hand on the screen while writing (which is my natural writhing position anyhow, especially as a lefty) overall, it’s great for the price, I just wish they’d have included a dust cover but luckily I just put it face down in my iPad case when I store it and I’ve had no issues with the charging port getting dirty so far because I do that. Fits perfect in both of my different iPad cases’ pencil slots.

Excellent stylus, works flawlessly
I use my iPad for note taking for classes and work. I now have 3 different pens, all in what I would consider the knock-off category. Every one of them is great, charges fast, functions without problems. I thought I would need more than one in case I was using it so much that the battery would die. That hasn't happened with any of them, but I'm not using the actual pen anywhere near as often as I thought I would. To be clear, I was taking a single 90 minute class, then using the iPad throughout my work day in place of paper or typed notes. I can easily go a couple of days without even thinking about a recharge. I can't compare this to an Apple brand stylus, maybe there would be a difference, although I kind of doubt it would be enough that I would notice it. This stylus pen works great with my iPad, feels great in my hand, and has given me zero issues. Price is so inexpensive that I have backups.

Excellent Apple pen
I was surprised how well this pen worked with my iPad mini 6. The magnets line up well with my iPad (older gen pens don’t). I like the tilt feature of these pens, although there’s no pressure sensitivity. Great for a budget conscious artist.

Better than an Apple Pencil!
I ordered an Apple Pencil to go with my iPad 10, and the first one I got didn’t work because the battery in the pencil went bad. Apparently the ion batteries in Apple pencils are so small when they go uncharged for long periods of time the pencil will not charge or hold a charge. I also didn’t like how I had to plug it in every time I wanted to use it to pair it. This meant carrying a cord and the Apple Pencil adapter with me anytime I planned on using it. Plugging it in was also the only way to check the charge because the Apple Pencil doesn’t have any indicator on the pencil itself. This product solves every problem I had with Apple. It automatically pairs when you turn it on. It has a double tap on/off feature that prevents accidentally turning it on and off. It has three indicator lights that tell you when the charge is good or low. It’s tilt sensitive just like the Apple Pencil, and holds a charge way longer. My favorite thing is that it comes at a third of the price of an Apple Pencil for a way better overall product.
