James Bond themes tend to be just as memorable as their movie counterparts and, to a certain extent, just as time sensitive. While many fans can remember the Monty Norman Orchestra's steamy Dr. No theme or Shirley Bassey's "Goldfinger," how many of US remember Rita Coolidge's dated "All Time High" from Octopussy or A-Ha's theme from the Living Daylights? Yes, just as we all have our favorite Bonds, we all have our favorite eras of Bond movie music. But surprisingly, whether they're New Wave, soul, or just Euro- pop inspired, most are still worth hearing. There are some real gems on this compilation: On Her Majesty's Secret Service's "We Have All the Time in the World" by Louis Armstrong, the Thunderball theme sung by Tom Jones, and the spunky theme to the Man with the Golden Gun by Lulu. Just overlook those sporadic lean years and you have a pretty stiff soundtrack cocktail here. Also features a DVD that includes music videos as well as live performances by Duran Duran, Tina Turner, Tom Jones, Carly Simon and more! Review: The Best of James Bond themes is Awesome! - I've loved the James Bond movies and music all my life! This is a great collection of theme songs up to Tomorrow Never Dies. I'm So happy I found this CD on desertcart. If your a big fan of James Bond like me, you have to get this wonderful collection! Review: Very good stand-alone songs on one CD. - I just want to say that you don't have to be a Bond fan to enjoy the music on this CD. Each song is a solid composition that will keep you satisfied until the last song. I am not here to review each song independently, but if you want an album of songs that you can put on your Ipod and just let it run; you will be pleasantly surprised. There are 24 songs, but none of them are more than 4:05 minutes long; So the boredom factor is not an issue here. Get this album. I enjoyed not just the music independently; but the entire CD.

Don’t spend more on a Bond CD
No need to waist your money on those expensive versions of this CD as this one has all the greatest theme songs in high quality! The first half of course is ho hum with the old style music but the last half takes it to another level of Bond music. Can’t beat the price!

James Bond Theme Songs
This is a great collection of all the James Bond theme songs, both old and new, as performed by the original artists. The collection is arranged in chronological order, and for those of us who saw the original movies in the early 60's (I was just a mere child,) good memories were brought to mind. A great collection and a great value.

R.I.P. Clifton James.
I bought this CD for a few of the titles, but after putting it on my phone, and listening to it several times I have found I really enjoy many of the other Bond themes as well. I find myself listening to it straight through. The only movie theme that I still can't warm up to is "The man with the golden gun". I did watch that movie again yesterday since Clifton James, who plays the Sheriff in both "Live and let die" and "The man with the golden gun" movies passed away. That spiral jump over the river is UNREAL cool.
