When the seat is lifted 2 wooden bars swivel and can be put into grooves top and bottom to lock the seat in place

Can you recover this tool, is it easy to strip the covering off the top

I haven’t tried it, but it looks like 8 screws are holding the cushion top to the frame, so am guessing it’s to remove the cover. I had thought about it, but since you asked and I’m now thinking about it, I may do it to cover up the hole my dog chewed on one of the corners!

Has anyone received a refund for this stool mine has collapsed only had it four werks

No I haven't mine has been okay sorry to hear about your problem but chase it up

Could you sit on it (in a collapsed position) safely if you are 120 kgs ? I am looking for a low stool to sit for hours

No way can you sit on his stool even in the collapsed position. In the collapsed position it is only 9 inches high, so could not sit on it whatever the weight you are. ,
