BOSCH L-BOXX-4 15 In. x 14 In. x 17.5 In. Stackable Tool Storage Case,Blue

I used to going for the tools that came with plastic cases, assuming they would give a safe way to store and transport. They do those functions well, but they do so at the cost of space, which is at a premium in my small home workspace. If I had the budget for a dedicated shop, I would probably find the Bosch L-boxx cases not as good a solution as they are. But they work great for my needs. The sizes are pretty wide, offering a good way to fit tools, from saws to sanders. If you have Bosch tools, there are inserts made for the cases, although they do not appear to be sold in the US at this point. I may order some pick and pluck foam, but for now find them to work well with the tools right next to one another when mixed (sanders in one box, etc). If you depended on the cases for your lively hood, the inserts or padding might be more important. I am slowly trying to accumulate L-boxx units to get rid of the tool provided cases I have, since they are mostly air (or plastic). They are pricey for certain, although less expensive than Festool's Systainers, but can be neatly stacked atop one another, including a wheeled base option. Personally I am not sure the wheeled base is worth the cost, so I will whip up my own wheeled bases out of some plywood with shallow vertical side pieces to help lock the bottom L-boxx in place. Anyway, the L-boxx units are plastic, but they feel sturdy enough for most uses. Not as heavy duty as some of the Dewalt offerings, but much more flexible in my opinion. I would not load them up with pounds of hardware, but for most tools they are more than capable of holding, protecting, and organizing your toys. They connect and disconnect easily enough, have large holds, and a big top mounted handle. Recommended.

I recently bought the Bosch LBOXX 4. It has been a handy addition to my tool storage. I am using this one to store a circular saw and spare blade. I like the locking feature of securing to another box. Allows me to stack things in my small shop and not worry about things slipping apart or falling. It seems well made and has held up for me so far . I have not seen the Dewalt box to make a comparison. Bosch does not have a seal in the lid. Dewalt , I believe does which would help with water/rain issues. I keep this one inside...so for me it would not make a difference. If you are a contractor or do outside work, it may be worthwhile to compare the two . The pricing does seem on the high end but Amazon had a lowered price and a good shipping offer, so I decided to try the item.

I work in construction and drive an SUV so i don't have that much trunk space to spare. My tools were originally stored in canvas bags and they were taking up all the space in my trunk as well as the rear fold down seat since i wasnt able to stack the bags without damaging tools. I Bought an l-BOXX 1A,2,3, and a 4 to hold all of my tools and they worked fantastic! I store my Milwaukee m18 sawzall, m18 circular saw, dewalt corded grinder, as well as grinding wheels, sawzall bits, and circular saw blades in the L-Boxx 4, and the box is only half full. All the boxes stack in my trunk in one column and i have them bungeed to the side so they dont topple over on turns and such. The only negative i could see in the larger boxes like the 3 and 4 was that the sides of the boxes do flex a little so when you try and snap a box on top of the larger boxes one of the latches will lock but the other will sometimes flex to the side and will not lock. So look out for that or else you may try and pick the whole stack up without all the boxes being locked together. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a modular stackable storage solution..

I just want everyone to know that i have been using this tool system professionally for about 6 years now. Most of out box configurations have stood the test of time. Sadly as with most good things this particular box ( i have both 2016 and new version) is way thinner in guage and flimsy. I wont take my chances in adding more of this product as its now poor quality. Direct to Systainer is where we need to go for professional grade boxx systems now. It was a nice few years Bosch, hope you guys bumped your bottom line and see you in home depot!

The LBOXX-4 has tons of storage room though probably isn't suitable for heavy tools. Sure you can throw a circular saw in there along with some light weight objects like knee-pads, sanding blocks or even a speed-square. It's also handy for other boxed tool cases from other manufactures that don't fit inserts. My L-BOXX-3 seemed to be the most helpful for multiple tool storage, though that didn't stop me from acquiring a 2nd L-BOXX-4 to see how that changes my storage options. The feeling I get is the will be handiest when going portable and packing it for a specific need beyond storage. At the very least the L-BOXX-4 and L-BOXX-3 make for great riser bases for the smaller boxes and L-RACKS. All in all I really love this entire system it's the most organized efficient way to be ever.

Got this last March along with the L-boxx2 and L-Boxx3 from amazon, would really like to get more of the L-Boxx4 but CPO now ships them and they're not shipping to my location. Great for tool storage and ordered the 2 more L-Boxx1 for smaller tools. Modular, neat stacking, light, great looking! My tools are more organized now, wont stop buying these until a new improve one comes along. I would give it one more star if they can make it waterproof and the locks more rigid. Would be glad too if they can lower the price more.

I was actually looking forward to using this new style of case from Bosch. I was I introduced to this style when I bought their 12 volt jigsaw kit, but after a year of use with these cases I will never use them again. I have a total of 5 of them that vary in sizes and the one smaller one with numerous dividers for screws. My problems with these boxes are the hinges that break apart, the side clickable handles that sometimes get stuck in the pushed in position, plastic is cracking on the sides and latches that break off after heavy use. My Festool box which contains my track saw has been used heavily in my box truck for the past 5 years and not one crack. My Bosch cases are only one year old and I'm tossing them in the trash. Since Festool is a lot more money I decided to try the new Home Depot Rigid system and it is so much better than the Bosch by far. I wish I didn't spend so much money on these Bosch kits. Big fan of their tools, not the cases.

this has been a great addition to my kit. this size is good when needed for lots of stuff or for larger items. i have never regretted any purchases for this system. for me the 3 size ends up being more useful as this can get very heavy when full and things at the bottom can get buried easily because you can keep stacking things on top with all of the room. around 14x12x15 inches(36x30x38cm), height, depth, width. it stacks and locks together with other boxes in the system very well. if it is heavily loaded it can get a little awkward trying to line up the clips at bottom with the interlocking slots on top of another but not a real problem and easier than other systems i've tried. i find it easiest to just watch one side as i place one on to another and they will line up easily and lock together with the weight of the top one whether empty or full. releasing the boxes is easy as well, you simply push inward on the red spring clips in the side handles and pick up. i've cracked one of my drawer cases before and these are abs plastic so repairs are easy. i was able to cold weld cracks and breaks with acetone and had great results. I hope this is helpful.

I attach this to my Bosch Vac. It holds the hose and bags and accessories.

I have had a full set of these for about a week and I am very impressed with the overall quality and build. The organization these allow you is great. I don't think they allow the same protection as the blow mold cases but they are more then adequate. I wouldn't want to drop them loaded from six feet but in the garage and in the back of the truck they will work great. I do have two complaints: 1) the 1 and 1a boxes don't have the deep hand holds on the side at the latches. Makes lifting the box awkward as compared to the others. 2) you can not use the holes for a lock when stacked! A huge oversight if you wanted to have locks on all your boxes. The hole also places the lock to the side of the case. If you plan to use these in a "shelf system" the lock will/could cause interference.

Excelente caja es funcional.

Buen tamaño y calidad
