Fine Garlic Powder, 3 Oz

Here's what you probably know about this garlic powder, even before ordering it. It will definitely add that bold, robust taste to a number of different dishes. While I'm partial to using fresh garlic cloves when cooking meals, sometimes I don't have time to go through the motions of actually peeling, slicing, dicing, mincing, etc. Even though I use the "peel" trick using a sealed mason jar or a small pot and a plate to get peels off fresh garlic cloves in less than a minute (look it up online if you don't know that cooking hack). Long story short, you know what garlic powder does, and this one delivers. Now, a little something you may not know. This particular garlic powder is sourced from China. I suspect that this may give some American buyers pause. First, they'd wonder why the garlic comes from China. And second, they might wonder if the garlic is safe to consume. But rest assured, the garlic powder is just fine. Because here's a little fact for you that you might not be aware of..... Most of the garlic powder used in U.S. brands of seasonings comes from China. The country that produces the most garlic powder worldwide is China, followed by India. Even though McCormick doesn't make it noticeable on their product pages (no pictures of the back of their garlic powder bottles), their product is also from China. So you pay more for the name brands, but the quality is probably not all that different. For all I know, both brands have their garlic powder processed in the same factory, or use garlic sourced from the same farms. I say all that to say, if you notice that this garlic was made in China, don't let that deter you from ordering it. Since most brands you come across for it will come from the same place. It's less expensive than the big name brands, yet the quality is about the same. In fact, it's even cheaper if you're a Prime member and order it along with about fifty bucks worth of products that fall under the same category (Happy Belly and other Amazon pantry type brands). It pays to order a bunch of herbs and spices from those brands all at the same time, you'll shave 20% off your shopping cart total during checkout. So when it boils down to it, this is a good garlic powder to choose. Good quality, and no one that I cook for can tell that I used the Happy Belly brand as opposed to some big name brand. Plus it costs less. So it's a smart money choice and good for a happy tummy if you pick this one.

The garlic flavor is fresh, rich, and blends smoothly into everything from marinades and soups to vegetables, sauces, and seasoning mixes. Since it's finely ground, it mixes evenly without leaving clumps. The container is easy to use, seals well to help keep the seasoning fresh, and offers a generous amount for the price. This garlic powder is a great addition to my spice rack. The texture is nice and fine, so it blends smoothly into dishes without clumping, which makes it perfect for sauces, soups, and even garlic bread. The flavor is strong and fresh, so a little really goes a long way. I also like how quickly it dissolves compared to coarser garlic powders—it gives a more even flavor throughout the dish. The bottle size is generous for the price, making it a great value compared to more expensive brands. Only small downside is the shaker pours a bit fast, but that’s easy to work around. Overall, it’s a reliable, high-quality staple I use all the time.

honestly for the price you cant beat this. its super cheap and you get a massive amount. if youre just throwing it in chili, tacos, or a bbq rub, its totally fine. tastes like garlic, does the job. the health nerd breakdown (why its not for longevity): 1. if you follow folks like peter attia or listen to huberman and you're buying this for heart health/arteries, this aint it. here is why: heat killed the magic: cheap bulk powder is almost always spray-dried with high heat. that heat kills the enzyme "alliinase." 2. no enzyme = no allicin: without that enzyme, the powder cant create allicin (the compound that actually helps your heart) when it hits water. the sniff test: i mixed this with a little water and waited 2 mins. if it was medicinal, it should burn your nose with a sharp sulfur smell. this just smelled like pleasant toasty garlic bread. that means the enzymes are cooked off. pros: 1. insane value for the money 2. great mild flavor for everyday cooking 3. expires in 2028 (bought 2025) so it lasts forever cons: 1. zero "medicinal" pungency 2. wont do much for blood pressure/plaque (you need freeze-dried or aged extract for that)

Good and FRESH! This garlic powder was a great price and the bottle was full! I have already used it for so many different recipes and it tastes fresh. I have also substituted it for fresh minced garlic and I think it tastes just as good, definitely versatile! The bottle is durable, the ingredients are quality, and I would definitely buy again!

It has great flavor very fine powder not granulated. Love it.

I get that because of its finer texture, I can actually taste the garlic in this powder. The size does really go a long way and the appearance was great better dissolving in many dishes I cook. It smelled fresh upon arrival and made the right ingredient for upcoming foods I am going to cook during the holiday season. The bottle also held up after I used it and I might want to order the most.
