I don’t really know the point of this gizmo as it is completely useless. It is not comfortable to be used to walk “barefoot” as the seam is on the bottom, and it is too bulky to fit into a sneaker. I was hoping to use it in place of the brace that I use, but it does not fit. It is a lot thicker than in the picture. As I said, useless. I suppose you could sleep in it, but probably not worth the trouble. Too much trouble to return it, so into the dustbin it goes.

Not to stable... Ankle thing falls a lot doesn't stay in place.

The ankle part should be bigger. Needs more of a curve near the foot part cause it pinches.

I suddenly developed foot drop, and was tripping myself as a result. This brace allows me to walk naturally without my foot dragging. It can be used two ways - either with the bottom piece wrapped around the foot, or by threading the Velcro strap through the laces of your shoes. Both of these methods involve using the ankle brace. I also purchased an Orthomen AFO splint for use in other types of shoes, but I think the MARS brace allows my foot to move more naturally.
