Originally forming as very much a hardcore punk band, in Rayleigh, North Carolina in 1982, C.O.C. then featured bassist and vocalist Mike Dean, guitarist Woody Weatherman and drummer Reed Mullin. By the time of their third album Blind in 1991, Corrosion Of Conformity had switched to a very much more metal orientated sound, and was their first album to get more mainstream attention leading to a major label deal with Columbia Records. The only album to feature Karl Agell on lead vocals, the band was also joined by Phil Swisher on bass and future Down collaborator Pepper Keenan on guitar and vocals. Review: top album by a top band in the 90's 5 ***** - Great album, great price, superfast service and delivery with thanks. 5 ***** Review: Quality album - The text in the vinyl on the insert is a bit chaotic, but it sounds class. love it.

Love this album
Love this album. Only had a live album and wiseblood previously, but this was a lot heavier in places than those two. Best c.o.c album I've heard so far. Dare I say that the singer on this album Karl agell is a better singer than pepper?!? Maybe! Highly recommended. Service quick and CD worked fine after a quick clean of the disk.

i made a mistake
let me start by saying, that this album was not what i thought it was when i bought it. i love all of coc's stuff with pepper, and i bought the new self titled album with trepidation, it is fookin' amazing and easily as good if not better in some ways than the pepper material. i bought this album, (stupidly i admit) thinking that this was the same lineup as the new album. i was wrong, this album has pepper, but only on guitar, and the vocals were handled by karl agell. i have to say this album is amazing, i love this album, i know i bought it thinking it was something else and i know people might wanna call me on it, but i don't care. i like this band and have done for ages, but since this album, (and the new self titled album) i have come to love this band in a way i wouldn't have guessed before. people might suggest starting with deliverance(another classic) or in the arms of god(equally as good) but i would say start with this, it the perfect blend of pepper era and pre pepper era coc.
