Master Lock Combination Padlock, Gym Locker Lock Custom 3-Digit Code, 647EC

I bought this lock for everyday use at the gym and it works exactly as expected. The size is compact but still feels sturdy and secure. The combination is easy to set and remember, and the numbers turn smoothly without getting stuck. I like that I don’t have to carry a key around, which makes it convenient for lockers and travel. Build quality feels solid and durable for the price. Overall, a simple and reliable lock that does the job well. Definitely recommend if you want something small and hassle-free.

Secure and easy to figure out

I wanted a small lock for a locker and specifically went with a combination lock because I didn't want another tiny key to keep track of. Being able to set my own three-digit combination makes it much easier to remember than getting a lock with some random preset code. It's compact enough for a gym locker, backpack or luggage without adding much bulk. I wouldn't use a small lock like this where I needed serious high-security protection. That's not really what it's designed for. For keeping a locker or bag closed and discouraging casual access, it works well.

A great lock for a gym locker, I just wish the directions for this were a little better, other then that a phenomenal little lock!

Easy to use and fits small locker well

Reliable Locker Lock with Easy-to-Set Combo This Master Lock combination padlock turned out to be just what I needed for gym and travel use. The compact size makes it easy to slip through locker or bag zippers, yet it feels sturdy and well-constructed. The black finish gives it a simple, low-profile look, which I like since it doesn’t draw attention. Setting my own 3-digit code was quick and painless—no fumbling with confusing instructions. The numbers turn smoothly, and the lock clicks shut securely without feeling flimsy. I tested it on a gym locker, a backpack zipper, and a small cabinet, and it worked consistently across all of them. It’s light enough for luggage yet strong enough that I trust it in everyday use. Something to keep in mind: this is designed for light to medium-duty use. It’s not meant for securing high-value items outdoors, as the shackle isn’t heavy-duty and the mechanism isn’t weatherproof. But for lockers, bags, or cabinets indoors, it’s perfect. Bottom line: A dependable, easy-to-use lock that strikes a good balance between portability and security for everyday needs.

I'd read a few reviews with people who couldn't set the combo, but I bought it anyway figuring those reviewers were just dummies. Then, I had some initial trouble setting the combo, and for a moment, I thought it was actually defective! But no, those reviewers were, in fact, dummies...or rather, they quit too fast. It turns out that when you press down on the shackle, you've got to press down HARD while turning it. And the turning motion feels surprisingly smooth for a second (almost like you're breaking it) and then you keep turning it until it stops. That's when you reset the combo, and then turn the shank back until it pops up on its own. I'm guessing the people who failed didn't press hard enough because it feels like you might break it. But just know that the lock isn't defective! Don't be a dummy and keep trying. Good luck!

This walk definitely feels a bit cheap and isn’t the highest quality, but it does the job and works perfectly for a gym setting. Overall, it functions well, even if the materials aren’t premium. You’re definitely paying for the price, but if you just need something that works and isn’t fancy, it’s a solid choice.

Very hard to use , I couldn’t change the code even with YouTube videos
