Yes, 4 raspberry pi zeros will fit. All raspberry pi models on all levels are secured with 4 nylon mounting screws, the one exception being the bottom level for pi zeros which utilize 3 mounting screws.

Q: Can it be separated into two stacks? meaning that using two stacks of two pis each.

It can be shortened to hold 1, 2, or 3 Pi’s if desired, but not into two separate stacks.
