What are the dimensions of a fruit tree that each size covers? I have some mature bush cherries that I want to cover.

I purchased the Large for an apple tree about 10 ft tall. It is tricky to get on when it is that tall. You will probably need some rods. I struggled as I only had a PVC pipe to help. Unfortunately I was using them for squirrels but they managed to chew a hole in it and still eat all of the apples.

Is there a good way to prop ths u at tye top to avoid the weight of the netting breaking new upper branches?

We ran into that same problem. I used some extendable paint roller handles (Longarms) temporarily until I could make permanent ones out of metal conduit.

How well does this work in protecting against early Spring frost?

I used it to protect my fruit from Bird and animal It’s work good

Has anyone used it on apple trees to prevent apple maggots?

Yes it does. You need to put the cover on as soon as the fruits set on the tree.
