Really pretty and aesthetically pleasing
I like to take food pictures so the matte black of this is great for contrast. Heavy weight, feels nice. It is small so this definitely would not be for entrees.

Noticed some gray lines
I think the plates are pretty although a bit small. I already noticed pale gray lines on one of them that might have come from cutting something on the plate. Not sure but it appears I would treat them carefully and not cut anything on the plate.

What a scam! It was only one plate instead of a set and the plate is about the size of a hand!

Unfriendly packaging, cheap plates.
The plates seem cheap and average; not artistic as I'd imagined. Definitely not worth $50. Also - I'm giving low stars because it took a long time to arrive (can Amazon please TELL us if something is coming direct from China?) and the packaging was TERRIBLE - that old fashioned, smelly foam block that was impossible to get opened (by the way it was taped shut) and with little beads of foam everywhere. NOT environmental by any means, and I regretted buying them as I opened the terrible packaging.

Not the deep red as pictured
Received this red plate well packaged from seller. Wrapped in thin foam sheet in big styrofoam block. Survived fine in the mail. I already have the white and black versions of this plate. I use them for photos of baked items that I make. I liked the deep red in the product picture. What I received is a watered down red, not the pretty darker red as shown in the listing. A bit disappointed in the color.
