Does the job, with no adverse odor. Used finish ones and they had a very strong chemical smell. Had to run dishwasher 2x with those.

I live in an older apartment complex. The dishwasher is functional, but definitely no-frills. Over time, the use of inexpensive detergents left deposits inside, including on the heating element. These deposits also had a noticeable smell. This product works as well, or better, than similar products that I have used in the past at dissolving this residue. They're ok. They smell great but they did not do a great job. It smells great, I want it to clean great.I find it works better when I use it with a cup of vinegar. But I shouldn't have to pair it with anything for it to work

Makes the dish washer smell nice after use. Make sure you open the tablet before you put it in the machine. I ran the dishwasher for the first time with this product without tearing the tab open and was the same tab after using it. Ran it with the tablet cut open and it dissolved after use.
