Great Everyday Fidget
this is the first high-quality/durable fidget i’ve ever owned. i bought it for myself as a late christmas gift and i have to say: this thing is amazing! it spins smoothly, it’s quiet, and it fits in my hand and in my pocket perfectly. i haven’t been able to put it down since it arrived. i work as a machinist, so i always have my hands busy, but when i have some down time while the machine is running, this keeps my hands busy and it’s super fun to play with and use when i need to concentrate on paperwork. i’ve had my eye on this specific fidget for a while and i’m glad that i made the leap and purchased it. it has a good weight and, in my opinion, is worth every penny. it’s become an essential pocket item for me and i don’t feel right leaving the house without it now lol

Excellent Sensory Tool – Great for ADHD and Autism Support
I purchased this roller to support a child with ADHD, and it’s been a great addition to their classroom accommodations. It has a nice solid feel with just the right amount of weight, and the rolling motion is very smooth—perfect for fidgeting quietly without causing a disruption. Placing it in the freezer gives it a whole new sensory feel, which adds to its effectiveness. It’s durable and has held up well over several months of regular use. As a special education teacher, I highly recommend this tool for students with ADHD, autism, or any child who benefits from sensory input or a quiet fidget. It’s a simple, effective, and well-made product—definitely first-class.

The best fidget toy
As a young adult with ADHD, I always need something to fiddle with in my hands. I've tried a lot of other of these "fidget toy" type products before, such as the fidget spinner, fidget cube, etc. However, I quickly stopped using those and resorted to using random stuff: pencils, bottlecaps, old twist ties and the like, for a few reasons. For me, fidget toys need to be: Quiet: I don't want to annoy others with what I'm doing to calm my hands. More importantly, I don't want it to annoy me. Portable: I need to be able to use it anywhere. I'm not whipping out a bunch of magnets or some big tablet of pseudo bubble wrap out in public. And I'm not gonna carry those things around either. Able to be used with one hand: Oftentimes, I and many others have to use one or more hands to do things. However, if both hands are dedicated to a fidget toy, then it kind of defeats the purpose. High quality/durable: A fidget toy is going to be used a lot. It's gonna be mashed, mangled, kneaded, and squeezed constantly over the course of weeks, months, or years. If it's cheap or flimsy, it's gonna start making noise or breaking. Able to be done absentmindedly (but not too much): A fidget toy needs to be something you do in the background. If it's too complex, it'll take focus and effort away from what you actually need to be focusing on. But if it's not complex enough, then it doesn't divert enough of that nervous energy. Satisfying: Probably the most important. If it's not a satisfying feel in the hand or a satisfying action to do, it's never going to be used. All the fidget toys I tried before failed one or more of those criteria. But then I bought the ONO Roller on a whim based on a few recommendations. And it's perfect. It fits every single criteria above, and is the only fidget toy I've tried that does so. It's satisfying, quiet, durable, just the right type of action that can be done in one or both hands, and portable (they even throw in a nice little drawstring pouch to keep it in). It's a little pricey, but it's 100% worth it. Whenever mine starts wearing out eventually, I plan to pick up another one.

Effective, but a Bit Too Simple for Me
This ONO Roller is a well-made and very effective fidget toy for what it does. The feel of the aluminum and the smooth, quiet rolling motion in my hand is incredibly satisfying and does a great job of helping to relieve stress and tension. It's a high-quality product with a very elegant, minimalist design. My only real issue is that it's a bit too one-dimensional for my personal needs. While the rolling action is great, it's the only function the toy has. I find that my brain needs a bit more variety to stay fully occupied, so after a while, I start to feel a little under-stimulated. I'm someone who needs a fidget toy with multiple different textures or motions to fully engage with it. For someone looking for a single, focused, and incredibly satisfying fidget function, this would be a 5-star product. For me, it's a solid 4-star because I just needed a bit more variety to keep my hands and mind fully occupied.

If you're an adult, get the full size.
I really like the feel of the ONO roller. It's smooth and you can tell it's well machined. I thought I would get the junior since the width seemed good enough for my hand, however I quickly noticed that the smaller diameter made my thumb muscle cramp pretty bad. I couldn't tell if it was from the extra weight from the stainless steel or if it was because of the size. I went back and bought the full size in the aluminum to see what I could figure out. The full size is much more comfortable at the wider diameter. I miss the smooth surface of the stainless steel one, but I actually like the weight of the aluminum one better. I thought it was going to be super lightweight because it was aluminum, but it actually has a little bit of weight to it, making it feel high quality and yet not as heavy as the stainless steel. I just don't know if I can get past the textured surface. I might have to get the stainless steel one in the full size. But regardless of all that, this is an amazing fidget. I almost always end up giving up on fidgets because they make too much noise, don't have good flow, they break, or they just aren't very satisfying. The ONO roller ticks all the boxes. Quiet, smooth, continuous motion, great quality build, modern looking, and super satisfying. Highly recommend this fidget.

False advertisement. No ONO branding. Likely started off with good ONO product, but after all the good reviews seller switched to cheaper, inferiorthird party products. Also came with the screws loose. I had to find a special Alan key in order to tighten it myself.

I’m a 32 year old chap trying to navigate his way through life whilst waiting for an Autism assessment to take place. Life has often been a struggle for me, perhaps more so than others. I tend to find Anxiety, Stress and Depression builds over time to a point that it becomes unbearable and something “breaks” so to speak. I often feel like I’m fluttering between a cycle of pent up emotions, breakdown, recovery (piecing myself back together) and beginning all over again whilst waiting for the next “break”. This may seem a negative opening, but please bare with me. I have been using this device now for a short period of time and I have noticed excellent results. I’m not the type of person who will sit here and say that this will absolutely work for you … results will vary as we are all different and this is what adds colour to the world. From my perspective, I have felt significantly less anxious when rolling this around in my hand. The texture is pleasing and I particularly like how it seems to absorb the cold. Put it in the fridge or freezer and the results are incredibly pleasing. I recently began a new job. On my first day, I was scheduled to be in the office. I usually work from home, but I had to go in and collect equipment and meet people. As somebody who suffers with social anxiety, this is always a daunting prospect. I took this device with me to the office, using it both on route and whilst in the office with people and nobody even noticed. I was worried it would be noticed and I would be questioned about it and I would have to divulge information I wasn’t ready to share openly with strangers. Nobody noticed. It’s discreet and silent, and I was able to use it all day to my hearts content. It definitely helped me feel more balanced and made navigating the challenge of this daunting new environment far easier. I also have an ongoing problem with picking my nails and skin on my fingers. I’ve had this issue as long as I can remember. I’ve tried all sorts throughout my life so far to stop it. I’ve even tried Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques, but nothing really changed the compulsive desire to tear my hands apart. Even with professional therapy, it’s never gone away. When I get stressed, anxious or depressed, I destroy my hands. It’s always been this way and I didn’t think anything could change this. Especially having tried so much over the years. This isn’t just minor picking either, I really will destroy my fingers without really realising I am doing it. However, I am extremely proud to say that my hands are looking significantly better now and it is thanks to this roller. I will include a photo as evidence of this. This device keeps my hands busy and prevents me from picking my cuticles and biting my nails. I honestly can’t recall the last time I saw my hands looking this good, which means it was probably way back in my childhood that they last looked like this. In my new role, it was nice to go and be able to shake hands with people without having plasters on each of my fingers or trying to hide them from view. It was also nice to experience a handshake without pain for a change. In the future, I would like to be a therapist. I am currently training towards this goal. Part and parcel of the training is developing a deep understanding of myself and self awareness. Through this, I have learned a lot about myself, my compulsions, patterns, thoughts and behaviours, but have never come across anything physically that really helped me. That is until now, of course. They often say the simplest things can work best. This is a simple device, but for me the results have been sensational. The size is great, it’s discreet and I really can’t demonstrate the impact it has had on me other than through this, admittedly, lengthy review. Though the device is simple, it is robust and clearly manufactured well. This will easily last me a long time. It may seem pricey for what it is, but I personally think the cost is justified considering the benefits I have got from this. As stated previously, people are unique, varying and multifaceted. Your experience with this may differ to mine and that is ok. At least you have the option to try it and return it if it doesn’t work for you. Personally, I think it’s a no brainer to try at least and see if it helps you too. Please note from the photos that my fingers aren’t perfect, as they are still recovering from the last attack before I got the ONO. However, they are almost healed which wouldn’t have been possible without the help of this. I won’t include a photo of what they were like before getting this as it is graphic and unpleasant to see, you will just have to take my word for it that this is a huge improvement.
