This is the best kitchen compost container I could have found. I like that it's heavy, so won't slide easily. It's wide enough to get in and out what I need. I use a large zip lock bag down inside, and drape over the sides so I can pull out the compost items easily and keeps my jar clean. The lid has vent holes, but also a filter inside the lid to keep any unpleasant scents inside. I love it!

This is absolutely beautiful. I was so impressed with this product. I only wish it had a plastic insert.
