Very easy to use
Use to repair a simrad marine radar cable, was easy, better than remove and replace the whole cable 👍🏻

These work as intended.
These work as intended, but the instructions could be a bit better. I had to watch a YouTube video on how to install. I recommend using the T568B standard on all DIY cables and keep it consistent across your home network.

Excellent replacement cat-8 connectors
I used these connectors to replace a damaged section of expensive cat-8 for a customer and added a short patch cable which saved the customer $$$.

Plugs don't snap into jacks
The plugs do not snap into RJ-45 ports Lock tab does not engage jack.

Interesting concept, but very niche.
VCELINK Cat8 Toolless RJ45 Connector: The Ferrari of Ethernet connectors! It’s so fast, my data arrived yesterday. Gold-plated and shielded, it’s like the James Bond of connectors. No tools needed, it’s easier to assemble than a cheese sandwich. Comes in a 2 pack, because one is never enough when you’re living life in the fast lane. 40Gbps? More like 40 Grins per second. Highly recommended for those who like their internet like their coffee - strong and fast!

Works great, tool-free
It's a great tool for quickly repairing a cable end (however there is a small learning curve), though it makes for a huge cable end. But for a tool-less repair end, it works fantastic. It's a good piece of equipment to use on cables that you know will be taking a beating and will need to be replaced. The strain relief is pretty solid and robust too. It does make it easy to spot which cable was repaired with this or built, since it literally sticks out like a sore thumb with a rack.

Fragile and very poor wiring diagram.
I purchased a pair of these thinking the higher price was justified in quality. Not so!! I installed one despite very poor wiring instructions. The other broke when I snapped it shut. So very disappointed to have to throw one in the trash. I would not recommend.
