OXO Good Grips Rustproof Aluminum Dish Drying Rack

Another quality product from OXO! The OXO Rustproof Aluminum Dish Rack is a stylish addition to any kitchen decor. The aluminum construction is rust proof and the overall colors compliment my existing brushed nickel faucets and stainless steel appliances. The OXO Dish Rack was easy to assemble and all of the components can be removed for easy cleaning and maintenance. The drip tray catches all water from drying dishes and funnels it back to the sink to keep countertops dry & fresh. The OXO Dish Rack fits perfectly and offers great capacity for everyday use. OXO products may cost more but will last for a long time.

After 30 years my old dish rack finally bit the dust. Actually the utensil tray on it broke and I was unable to find another one that would fit the perimeters of the dish rack. I literally had a large yogurt container tied into the rack while I did some extensive research into my next model. This rack is smaller than my previous one but I really like it. The water tray snaps onto the bottom of the surface that the dishes sit on. It fits in all directions so you can decide whether you want a rack that is wide on the edge near the sink or narrow and extending away from the sink. I like the versatility of being able to choose which side the dish slots are on as well. It sits on 4 feet that are approximately 1” long. I read some reviews that said the untensil cup drains onto the counter……it is intended to be placed within the drying wrack and not to be attached to the outside. Common sense! I’m quite pleased with my new dish wrack and highly recommend this particular model.

Very nice. I’ve used many racks and always have issues with the hard water stains showing on the rack ,with this one no issues. Easy to clean .A little pricey but worth it.

I initially thought I would not like this be a it seemed like a lot of flat area for water to stand. Found out that there was a slope towards the holes and water did not stand in the flat areas. I love this because when I toss a small spoon or lid into the reach it doesn’t slip through the grates like on my old drainer. I cook and bake a lot so use a wide variety of utensils and this rack hold all of them well. It is big enough that it fits the whole sink- but doesn’t hit the sides. The aluminum legs and wrap around part seem very sturdy and hopefully will not rust. I am so pleased with this dish drainer after 2 weeks that I plan to get another just like this for when this one becomes old and worn out.

Pluses: (1) relatively small footprint (I like how the feet are not on the outside of the perimeter and the rack can actually overhang the sink, the edge of the counter, etc, while standing firmly on all 4 feet), (2) "ventilated" sides -- nothing falls out, but I assume this design is conducive to faster drying, (3) the silverware "pocket" holds things well and I noticed that tips of the knives no longer have water on them after drying overnight, unlike the previous dish rack of mine, and (4) there's nothing in this rack that will rust (no "nylon coated" steel) Minuses: (1) I have droplets (sometimes rather big) sit in the "valleys" of the dish tray. The tray seems to be made from the hydrophobic plastic with (I guess) the idea that droplets would roll toward the middle and fall down into the lower tray, but it's not happening unless there's too much water, (2) the slope of the discharge (lower) tray is also insufficient -- if I lift the side of the rack, I inevitably get a couple more ounces of water run out, which otherwise would just sit there, (3) it's on the expensive side for what it is.

Pretty and best quality

My only complaint about this product is the price. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything else like it on the market at any price, so I took a chance. I'm very happy with every aspect of this dish rack. It drains well and is just the right size for my needs.

This is a fabulous product. Excellent size for a family, good quality construction. I love that it can drain via the little spout tray into the sink. I wasn't sure if it was going to be big enough after reading one of the reviews but it's large enough for a family of four.
