RISE & BAKE ARTISANAL BREAD - A favorite of professional and craft bakers for raising bread dough. Artisan loaves sport a gorgeous pattern of floury rings circling the crust, which take their shape from the traditional coiled form. The baskets spiral provides a beautiful design for a traditional hearth-loaf look.
EASY TO USE - Dust the proofing basket with flour, including the bottom and sides. Do this over a cloth, your flour bucket or a wastebasket, as much of the flour will sift through. It is also recommended that you keep a cloth or baking sheet under the basket while moving it, and when the bread is rising, to catch any excess flour. Once fully risen, the dough easily drops onto your baking surface. For proofing very wet doughs, as called for with popular no-knead bread recipes, the optional line
EASY TO CLEAN – Your basket should not need much cleaning. Simply shake the excess flour out after each use. If dough has stuck to the basket or liner, wait until it dries fully, then use a stiff, dry brush to scrape it off. If, for some reason, you feel you need to clean your basket (or before the first use!) use a stiff brush and warm water (no soap!) and allow it to air dry at room temperature. While it is preferable to hand wash the linen liner, it is machine washable (on a gentle cycle).

PERFECT GIFT FOR A BAKER!

I just ordered this bread basket for my boyfriend's birthday! He loves to bake bread and we especially love to make our own pizza dough! We didn't have a good rising basket so I decided to give this one a shot! It works fantastic for our bread dough! The loaves come out very rounded and even, definitely brought our bread to a bakery quality! I would definitely recommend this proofing basket to any bakers out there- aspiring or experienced!A tip that I have for this bread bowl is to place the bowl on top of a cookie sheet for any flour fallout. It makes it a breeze for clean up.This basket is perfect as a gift for a baker in your life! I had no idea what to do for his birthday but this ended up being PERFECT! He loves it so much. 5 stars.

Durable, high quality!

I bought this banneton to make more authentic sourdough bread. It is exactly what I needed! It’s durable, didn’t smell like weird chemicals, and even cans with a cover that is easily washable. I would highly recommend this product if you want to up your sourdough to the next level.

Pretty Cool
