Great little thing

I got this for my grandson, and it's one of those gifts that just hits the mark straight away. He loves dinosaurs, so the dino design with the roaring sounds made it an instant winner from the moment he opened it. The quality is ok, its a good size for his age, it feels robust and well made, which means it can handle a bit of rough and tumble when running around the house or outside if dropped. The adjustable strap fits his head well, and the 3 lighting modes are a nice touch. Overall, he really likes it and thinks it's pretty cool. The only downside is that it takes 3 AAA batteries, which means you'll want to keep a few spares handy. Other than that, it's a great little headlamp and his happy with it.

A great little toy head torch which makes a roaring sound . My grandson, a dinosaur fan, loves it ! It’s easy to set up, once you install a battery (not included) you can switch between modes by pressing down on the Dino jaw. The Dino head is attached to a fabric harness that is adjustable and seems to be comfortable for a small child’s head,. It is easy to pack away and carry around. A good value toy for dinosaur hunters .

This head lamp had so many dinosaur options available, all with different heads and lights / light patterns. My kids favourite dino is the triceratops so we opted for that one. The triceratops light has three different coloured lights for the horns. Some of the other options I feel had better lights on them. All have white light up eyes and the coloured lights for horns. The coloured lights are orange, purple and green which go well with the general dino theme. The headband comprises a cross of wide band elastic. This is soft and comfortable. It is adjustable in multiple places for the perfect fit. It fits kids and even my head. We did find the dinosaur head bit a little bit heavy. If the straps aren't really secure it feels awkward to wear. Also, the back of it is solid plastic, which is mostly fine unless you bash it or tie it too tight. It's simple to use with a three place switch (off/roar/lights) on the dino head. The roaring function is loud, but thankfully you can have just the light function too. My little one absolutely loves this and it has been the source of creation of many dinosaur hunting related games. This is a lovely toy for younger kids and dinosaur fans alike. With a vaguely functional torch. I'd definitely consider getting one of the other different ones for my other kid especially as they are similar, but noticeably different.

On sight this headlamp was a hit with the kids. It's a dinosaur so it was always going to be a winner. From my prospective it was a bit of a mixed bag. The actual headlamp was fun and worked well with the lights and sounds. The downside is it's quite chunky and heavy for small heads and over balanced a little if not positioned quite right. The strap with it's Dino paw prints is quite soft and strong with reasonable elasticity. Adjustable at multiple points for a good fit. It was easy to use and the little ones soon got to grips with turning the lights and sounds on and off. The lights are quite bright but the sounds are repetitive and annoying after a while. Great fun for reading before bed or walking in the woods in your wellies looking for dinosaurs. I would not class this headlamp as value for money as I think it is slightly overpriced to start with and add to that the fact it doesn't come with batteries and it isn't rechargeable the cost continues.
