I’ve been using the TUCO portable range hood for the past few days and have been genuinely impressed with its performance. It’s a compact unit, but it does a great job pulling in smoke and cooking odors, especially when using appliances like an indoor grill or hot plate where traditional ventilation isn’t available. Setup was quick and straightforward — just plug it in and place it near your cooking surface. The suction is strong for its size, and I noticed a clear difference in air quality while cooking foods that typically produce a lot of smoke. The carbon filters are easy to install and replace, and the overall build quality feels solid. It’s also surprisingly quiet compared to what I expected from a portable unit. If you’re in an apartment, dorm, or any space without a built-in range hood, this is a really practical solution for reducing smoke and odors while cooking indoors.

I am pleasantly surprised with this product, the use is super easy, it is light you can take it wherever you want.. it has light in the front to better observe the food, the extraction of the air is fantastic I promise you that it completely extracts it even the odours.. additional brings a spare filter.. the electricity is the normal that we use at home and the best of all would be the plus you can store it and use it whenever and where you like it the most.. I sincerely love it I would buy it a thousand times more.

Does a good job for the price. I don't have a hood range in my home and this really has helped. I don't use it all the time, only when searing or cooking something that I know creates smoke. When something is really smokey, it sucks up roughly 90% of the smoke. Considering it isn't a commercial grade hood range, I consider it a win. I recently used it in a hotel room on a road trip to be able to fry up some grilled cheese sandwiches without setting off the fire alarms, it worked perfectly.

It’s lightweight which makes it convenient to use when cooking . The three speed settings give good control depending on what I’m preparing, and the airflow feels consistent. I also like the filter system it does a solid job reducing odors, and the included extra filters are a nice touch. The noise level is noticeable but not overwhelming, especially on the lower settings. Cleanup is simple, and the design looks neat without taking up too much space.

1. Noise level is average, there is a higher speed setting where it gets slightly noisier but nothing overwhelming. 2. This size is convenient to keep on any counter near your cooktop. 3. The build looks sleek. there is a small metal circle that is inlaid in the port meant to connect the fan to power. This little circle piece popped out after 2 weeks of use. There is a removable plastic filter piece that is designed to sit inside the fan and can be removed for ease of cleaning. There are also 2 carbon filters that come with the device that are not noted or explained in the manual so I figured that out in my own to place in the back of the removable plastic filter. They don’t seem to do much for absorbing smell but are better than just using the plastic filter on its own. 4. This definitely creates air flow which can be seen by the cooling vapors getting sucked into the fan. However, I found that it does not remove greasy cooking air. There’s a small compartment in the back of the fan to supposedly collect cooking oils out of the air it sucks in. This is shown in their video. I’ve used this device now for over a month with both types of filter settings and on all speed settings - it has never collected a drop. It remains dry and clean, untouched. 5. This device does not significantly cut down on cooking fumes or greasy cooking fumes. I live in a studio so that’s why I wanted something to reduce cooking fumes but this just spread the air around. It’s overpriced at $100 for what it claims to do. I unfortunately cannot return it because I’ve had the product past the return window date as I tried to give it a chance.

I’m extremely happy with this extractor. It has a modern, minimalist design that looks great on my countertop and doesn’t take up much space. Despite its compact size, it works very efficiently and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It’s easy to use, runs smoothly, and feels well-made and sturdy. I also appreciate how quietly it operates while still providing strong performance. Cleaning and maintenance are simple, which is a big plus for daily use. Overall, this extractor exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, stylish, and effective extractor. Great value for the price!
