are the ingredients 100 % made in the usa or china ?

Thank you for asking such a great question. We source the majority of our products from the United States, however, we do outsource our Lamb that comes from New Zealand and our Rabbit from France. The vitamin B used in the recipes will come from China. If you have any other questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to us at 1-800-664-7387 or via e-mail at customerservice@merrickpetcare.com.

What is the phosphorus and protein levels on a dry matter and as fed per basis for the limited ingredient chicken pate cat food? Thanks

That is a question that should be answered by the manufacturer.

How much sodium does this food have? my cat has ckd

I don’t know how much sodium this food has that is a question better answered by the company website or calling a direct number. What I can tell you is this food is not appropriate for a cat with CKD. The protein level and likely the phosphorus is too high. If you are unable to feed a prescription kidney diet you should select a diet designed for senior cats. The AAFCO says this food is for all life stages which really means it’s best for kittens or young active adults cats.

Purina bought Merrick in 2015 is there Carrageenan in this cat food/ingredients?

There is Guaranteed Gum, which is a food gum exactly like Carrageenan. I'm allergic to all of them, they're all the same.
