Switch Bot, Ultra-small Finger Robot that Presses Buttons, Wireless

Fantastic product. I purchased this so that I could turn on and off my older reverse cycle air conditioning system as opposed to spending a fortune retrofitting a fully fledged wifi controller. Although it just turns it on and off, that is fine as my main priority is being able to turn the heater on as I leave work, so my house is warm when I get home on these cold Australian winter nights. Sometimes we go to bed with the heater on, too - so it is handy to be able to turn it off from bed with my phone whenever we are comfortable. I am now keen to but more bots to make some other dumb units become smart. So far it has worked flawlessly and was very easy to set up. Highly recommended!

I was looking for a way to automate my espresso machine (a traditional model with a stiff mechanical rocker switch) without messing with wiring or replacing an appliance that still works perfectly. After some research, I decided to give the SwitchBot Bot a try, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Setup and Installation: Truly Plug-and-Play Getting it running took literally five minutes: Pull the battery tab. The SwitchBot app (iOS/Android) pairs instantly via Bluetooth. Stick it next to the button using the included 3M adhesive tape. No rewiring, no opening up wall panels, no hassle. The adhesive holds firmly, and the motorized arm packs more than enough torque to press stiff buttons. The box also includes the small add-on sticker with transparent line, which lets it pull toggle switches back up—a huge plus if you need both on and off actions. Day-to-Day Use and Automations The app is clean and lets you configure local schedules right over Bluetooth without needing an extra hub. I set it to turn on automatically at 7:00 AM on weekdays, so the boiler is preheated by the time I walk into the kitchen. Later, I added the Hub Mini to unlock remote access and voice control via Alexa and Google Home, which made the setup completely seamless. Why I Recommend It: Retrofits "dumb" appliances without spending hundreds on smart replacements. Bulletproof reliability: it hasn't missed a scheduled press once. The CR2 battery lasts for months and is cheap to replace. A clever little gadget that does exactly what it promises. Perfect for renters or anyone wanting to automate physical switches around the house without the complexity of hardwired smart home gear.

Meilleur achat!

Very odd device but it actually works with almost all kind of buttons if you install it properly. It’s very important that you test the function few times BEFORE sticking it in place. Luckily there are 2 adhesive tapes in the package you can use.

Connects to google home in no time. Easy setup. Highly recommend.
