Natural-looking brows!
Love this brow pencil! It creates really natural, hair-like strokes and fills in sparse areas without looking harsh or overdone. It’s easy to use, stays put throughout the day, and gives a clean, defined look. Definitely a go-to for everyday brows.

Liked it so much I immediately bought backups!
I was so impressed after trying this pen that I immediately bought two more so I wouldn’t run out. I’m still on my first one, but it has quickly become a favorite. The trick is to use a very light hand—it makes the strokes look incredibly natural and like real hair. Best of all, it stays put all day without fading or smudging. Definitely worth it if you want a precise, long-wearing brow!

Great drugstore brow pen
Formula is great not much pressure needed, which is important for making a natural looking brow in my opinion. I will say I purchased the Auburn tone, which is the color I used to buy in ABH and it’s very different I intend to re-purchase this in whatever the latest brown color or medium brown colors is because this is very red. This is not auburn. This is like a real ginger. I do not like the idea of having red eyebrows, I just wanted to brown with a slightly red undertone, which is what the other brand gave me lol but other than that, it’s great and technically I was buying a red brow pencil so I’m not too mad about the color. I just won’t use it.

Wonderful product!
I have been on the quest for the perfect most natural looking brow pen and I think this may be as close as I get. I have eyebrow thinning and loss from 30 years of being on difficult medical treats like chemo shots and steroid infusions which tend to rough on hair in general. While some of my eyebrow has grown back over the last 2 years with the help of growth serums, & conditioners, I need to fill them in to create that natural frame we all aspire to for our face. When I first received this product I tried it with the double brush and found it difficult to control for my desired effect. I snipped off one of the brushes and now use it as a very fine paintbrush with which I can lightly draw and fill in little hair strokes that shape, fill, and define without the clownish result of pencils, powders or brow pens that the brushes are just too thick. I find it best to have the brows dry and no lotion or potions on or in them prior to drawing as it adheres well drys quickly and looks natural. I also find taking a small make brush dusted very lightly with translucent powder a nice finish to mute any darker strokes and slightly 'mute' the brow for a more natural look and staying power.

Great Pen, Terrible Cap.
I love the way this pen applies, but the cap completely ruins it. I’ve used both this one and the iMethod brow pen, and they both have the same issue—the cap is flimsy and “springy,” and after a while it starts popping off on its own. Once that happens, the pen dries out and makes a mess you didn’t even cause. The L’Oréal pen performs better than iMethod in terms of application, but they both suffer from the same packaging flaw. It makes the product unreliable and honestly a waste of money. The worst part is you never know when it’s going to fail. You can go to bed with a perfectly fine pen and wake up to it completely dried out—no warning, no brows for the day. Great concept, but until the cap design is fixed, I wouldn’t repurchase.

If it seems too good to be true...
Well, I took the bait on this... hook, line and sinker. I'd long thought about an idea for brow enhancement for those of us who grew up in the 70's - 80's where 'angel hair pasta' thin brows were the norm. No shape or definition, just a line. And they Never. Grew. Back. My idea was likened to a piece of lead for a mechanical pencil, solid and thin enough to mimic a real 'hair', Merle Norman sold a product just like this decades ago. Truth be known, it probably outperformed itself leading to its' discontinuation. I mean, when one product works so well that it cuts into the profits of another product in the same line, it is often shelved based on the profit margin. I knew out of the box that this product was a waste of (at least my) money when I unscrewed the top and both of the 'brushes' (bent) on the way out of the tube. It was as if someone had taped or otherwise devised a method to hold two identical liquid eyeliner brushes together, shoved it in a tube housing a very thin liquidy sort of something that stains the skin and off to market it went. If the 'bristles' of the 'brushes' were even slightly rigid rather than quite 'flexible', they m-i-g-h-t have been able to pull it off. At least with that, you stood a better chance of creating a straight, 'hair' line but, when the bristles bend as they do, the result is more like simply 'filling in' any sparsity in the brow, covering any flesh peeking through the hairline. Now, for literally decades, women all over the world have been utilizing a product already widely available to fill in and, disguise those pesky sparse areas of their brow(s). That product is called an 'eyeliner Pencil'... been using them for years... for the rim of the eye so as to 'line' it (eye - Liner)... get it? Anyways, after the 'I'll never understand if I live to be 100 why' the fad explosion of the Sharpie super- sized brows hit the cosmetics runway, most manufacturers relabeled many of their 'eyeliner' pencils as 'Brow' defining pencils, never skipping a beat to the check-out counter in the beauty aisles. The idea behind this 'new' genius was to offer the user a more pronounced, defined brow, to really stand out, in stark contrast to the aforementioned skinny brow of the 70's... go ahead use the darkest black/brown no matter your hair color (natural or otherwise) and they will indeed stand out. This product like so many others it seems these days was designed to 'sell', not to 'work'. My review must sound somewhat pessimistic and, it is. I've just become so disenchanted with companies clamoring to make another buck at the cost of insults to the intelligence of the consumer. Anyone who doesn't see that are clearly not watching enough late night TV infomercials where everything old is new again, it's true. When I try a new product and it slaps me in the face with pizazz and vavoom.... I'm going to flap my gums just a hard in their favor as I do for substandard or gimmick products. I will always give credit where due; however, this is not one of them and I hate that. I really, really wanted this to work! I wanted to give it 5 stars so maybe it could help as many as people as possible who share the same age related issue(s) I have run across and continue to encounter. But the day is young and my Amazon buggy is empty so I am off to search out a few more items and if any of them make me feel like dancing, I'll be back and let the whole world know! ... LOL

Pleasantly surprised
This is a very good product providing you are relatively good at eyebrow make up. It does run dark

After 2 or 3 applications it seems dry and light color

I lost a lot of hair on my eyebrows over time and ended up with noticeable holes and sparse areas. I’ve been searching for years for something that actually works — and this product is absolutely perfect. It fills in the gaps so naturally and precisely that no one can tell it’s not my real brow hair. The formula applies smoothly and stays put all day without smudging or fading, but it still looks soft and realistic. It’s easy to control the intensity, whether I want a subtle everyday look or something a bit more defined. I also appreciate how long-lasting it is — I don’t have to constantly reapply. Finally finding a brow product that actually solves my issue has been such a relief. I’d highly recommend this to anyone with thinning brows or sparse spots — it makes such a huge difference!

This is an amazing brow pen, probably one of the best I’ve used (I’ve tried MANY). My only issue is that I wish they had a cooler light brown. The one closest to my hair color is a little too warm for my liking but it’s still usable. Design wise, the tip is sharp and the ink hasn’t faded after a few weeks of use, which in my experience is the downside of brow pens, they fade easily. I prefer the look a pen gives over a pencil and I will purchase this one again.
