Takako Mamiya - Love Trip [Japan LTD CD] PROT-1047

I love this album and that I can get a vinyl copy was awesome. Listen to it to make sure the sound was right and have enjoyed it multiple times since.

My copy came with the case cracked but the obi strip, cd, and inserts were in perfect shape so I did a quick swap of the case to correct that one issue. The music is excellent but chances are you know that if you are looking for this record as it is pretty niche. It is expensive for the short track list but if you want a copy of this album then you are going to pay a decent premium either way. If you are into this record then also check out Tatsuro Yamashita, Tomoko Aran, and Toshiki Kadomatsu; three other legendary city pop artists!

On an early morning, with your favorite coffee (maybe even a little brisk weather), listen to this album form the top - you will understand why so many people love this album. Some people talk about one hit wonders. This is a one album wonder!

one of the few albums where i loved every single song. if you've heard of this artist you might've already heard either "Love Trip" (title track) or "Midnight Joke" and if you really enjoyed those songs, then you'll love the rest of the album. this CD is also pretty rare to find too!

After having heard a few songs on YouTube I definitely wanted this entire CD. The seller was a joy to work with. The package arrived safely and on time. It was very well packaged and still in the wrapper. The music itself is breathtaking.

One of my favorite albums of all time. Apparently she has a blog she still updates on occasion. I keep this disk in my 82 Supra and cruise with the windows down.
